Is when the PS3 will really hit it's stride. I really do not have to elaborate on this point, the games that are coming out make it self-explanatory
the reviews will determine whether or not I pick up this game. After all, I've spent so much $$ this year and there's a slew of hits coming early 2009
imo Xenogears should be in the top 5 (just my opinion). Amazing story coupled with a fun interactive combat system made that game a classic in my eyes.

The year of 2009 will determine SONY's fate imo. They need to put out some really amazing exclusives Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, God of War 3 (hopefully). If the PS3 cannot top the 360 (consistently) after Killzone 2, then I fear for the future of my sole console.
But you know what, I have a feeling I shouldn't be worried and that SONY will come back hard next year.

the only problem I encountered was not having the correct philips number. If you don't want to spend $$, just bring the HDD to your local handy shop and loosen it there

Is that they use the same template for their characters over and over and over again. I really do hope that the characters flesh out, and do not use the same archetype that's always used for JRPG characters. Still going to buy the game, but I'm really hoping that it pulls me in instead of giving me a sense of dejavu
