can only hope it means, no more yearly releases and more like a new cod game every 2 -3 years which should coincide with a massive increase in quality, while also allowing other devs a realistic chance to fight for the FPS crown as currently no one can compete with a series that has like 7 dev studios working on it at all times churning out games yearly.
Best game ive played all year and one of the best every, so definitely well deserved and i hope they clean up at the game awards also.
BG3 was an absolutely amazing achievement and they deserve all the plaudits they get for it!!
I swear if insomniac somehow manage to release wolverine in 2024, they will have completed one of the most insane runs of Quality AAA games ever seen, even 2025 would be a bloody achievement.

FF16 - the highs of this game, my lord!! flawed but seeing and fightin summons that i grew up with at this scale and in the way it was done was bloody awesome and makes my top 6

My lord is this game stunning on pc!! I wish they compared more of alan wakes missions as the lighting in the new York areas is bloody amazing.
This game is creepy as hell and has had me on the edge the whole time.
What remedy have achieved here is basically if sony let there devs make AAA quality horror game.

Exclusives are fine and are how consoles are sold, buying out beloved ips and locking it to your platform is a different story though.

not complaing tbh, i love the last of us but for me the story is done, i dont need more it. they couldve left it at 1 and i wouldve been happy with it.

Having played both, the only bug i can think of running into on starfield was floating doors in 50+ hrs lol spider man 2 crashed once on me in 13 hrs and thats literally it it for either of them.

jak and daxter was hardly mid, those games were amazing and reviewed as such!!!
playstation definitely needs another platformer outside of ratchet and clank and jak and daxter would be perfect.

Hard to argue with the selected nominees for game of the year having played every game on that list. only game id possibly remove is re4 due to being a remake and replace it with Hogwarts or jedi survivor but in the end as you mentioned BG3 1000% deserves to win and was easily the best game i played all year.
Glad they got the selections right at least but yea BG# will sweep the categories its in.
