Yeah pay up front months in advance for a product you know next to nothing about. Intelligence in motion.
I love F2p games (league of legends, war thunder, planetside 2), but at the same time I understand that there are some genres that simply do not work under the model.
How could you make a f2p dark souls or bioshock? A f2p CoD without 'pay to win' items that give an advantage?
Oh and PS bioshock infinite was overrated.
There is really no argument about what is the more feature rich platform (PC), the only advantage that consoles have is the price of entry. I own a 360 for exclusives and all I have to say is 'eighty dollar controllers'. And the games all look fuzzy.
The PC is an open platform with limitless possibilities, better input devices, superior networking, and can also help you do your taxes and make 3D models for work. And watch movies. And shop any store. surf the internet....
The story has a big update regarding inaccuracy - they said DOTA2 was number one when it is really a distant second, read the article and change the title.
How much you wanna bet they produced this for way below their take from the suckers at kickstarter, and pocketed the rest?
Is this article serious....
If MP is what really matters they perhaps would have deigned to show it first, eh?
Angry birds, subway surfers, all the mindless FPS's, starcraft online and all the MOBA's..uh, no I don't think the 'arcade experience' is going anywhere.
As a guy with a primary career in commercial art....
I see someone who knows how to use the magic wand and fill tools in photoshop.
Honestly, I am all for those who create through repurposing and appropriating the art around us, but this is simply an outline of the commercial material filled in with complimentary tones, overlayed over the same paper texture (look at how the grain, or 'grime', is exactly the same in each).
This is som...
Eight is a good score. I cannot believe how people fawn over the story in this game... as someone who (occupational reference removed), this plot stood out as a very disjointed, circular narrative.
You can tell when a writer refused to let go of an idea or character and tried to make it fit into a revised story, this is what this game feels like, the parts do not connect to eachother easily, there are too many themes and styles competing with eachother -

By now most people who got taken in by the PR hype machine have woken up in bed next to a sixty dollar stale game. Worth on eplay through but that's it, to the bargain bin.
Exactly... the effort they put in to single player could be translated into double the multiplayer content.
The DS/3DS are 'on fire' because they are mobile platforms. Consoles have had their window, it is closing.
Amazing how people are still thinking in terms of 'power' when the most popular games today are simple, small footprint titles like subway surfers and league of legends.
Hell bioshock infinite runs on outdated tech and its still a fun game. The more visually complex and 'powerful' a game becomes, the more expensive it is to produce, and the less development risks can be taken.
This obsession with 'power' is a pubescent male fetish an...
Dude think about it a game that comes out a decade later has fewer factions, fewer weapons, and fewer vehicles.
CoD ruined FPS for the foreseeable future.
The reaction to this clumsy satire says quite a bit about N4g users, and internet users in general.
That they are shallow, stupid men who only ever read the first headline or bold faced text in a newspaper or magazine,
Who act like children, and jump at the first excuse to display misplaced emotion over toys and games, since their real lives must be totally devoid of emotional stimulation or attachment.
You want some real titillation? Biosh...
Amazing how the drones disagree with you when you speak the honest truth. Sometimes i think most of the accounts on N4G are PR shills.
BF3 was a derivative mundane shooter that just happened to have vehicles. It was barely treading water from the last one, six years previous. It tried to be CoD, not itself, and failed.
You guys believe anything huh...
I dunno.. it was a typical sidekick helper character..open dat door, gimme dat health, fit through this vent...
Its a good game but the way people are gushing over it makes it apparent the studios are desperate for profitable new IP's and are willing to spend big in the PR department.
Thanks not paying atention. The question was about money from gun manufacturers in games. Bubble down for off topic.
