Yeah, this was pretty non-lulzy.
I mean c'mon, not a single mention of
"All you had to do, was FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN, CJ" ?
Not ONE?
Well said, I see where you're coming from.
25 gb per layer, up to triple-layer (though, why would you, disc read speed that many layers deep i would assume dips a bit)
soooo blu-ray.
i highly doubt nintendo looked to the 360 for inspiration.
tell that to their designers.
the way the console is fundamentally constructed, ram for os, for gaming, etc., flies in the face of anything the 360 did.
Granted, I never owned a GameCube, but I wonder if they could somehow involve Club-Nintendo (if that was even around in the days of GameCube). Because you basically locked your disc to an account with a product key. It could be proof that you had an original copy, and not a discounted used one?
Ubisoft: "In our game, we don't have second generation psychics being controlled through a dead war hero super soldier dominant gene-only clone's severed arm"
...good to know.
not everyone has a 1080 p capable television. mine is most likely 736 p, seeing as it's an off brand. sure when you multiply 1920x1080 and 1280x720, 1080 p has 2.25 times as many pixels, which is an actual great deal of work to do. i'm not sure if it was laziness on the developer's part, but when your current console derivatives aren't displaying 720 p native, unless the money is being put there way from up top or from Nintendo, 1080 p native may not be worth their time just y...
except that batteries will never decline in cost ...
Since when is a Mario game worth hating on?
Have you seen the difference between NSMB Wii & U?
Whereas Wii seemed slow and blurry and sluggish, and just playing off of NSMB (ds) tropes, this new one seems to be genuinely inspired. It is creative because of each and every level. Just because its art style is similar it should be inferior?
I'm sure 3rd party developers would prefer more consoles out there rather than less...
It just seems to be a risky gamble.
Do you not go shopping much ?
Ninty games have been sitting high and mighty at $49.99, lest they be on clearance for $29.98 or $29.99.
Nintendo does not set the pricing for any 3rd party titles.
Third parties can charger whatever they wish. Especially with the eShop.
Do you see Microsoft NOT charging $59.99 for Halo 4, a flagship series?
Oh, and (insert monthly fee for online play).
Chrono Trigger.
Case and point.
It's still hella expensive.
Also, anyone tried beating Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, lately?
That game is a monster.
Rated T for Trolling.
I just want more and more of the euphoria engine.
So explain how developers consistently optimize and use PC specs to their fullest....
While you claim that an r700 gpu or an e6760 is "out of touch" with developers.
I'll be here waiting.
Nope.
but current gen machines had to split said ram between cpu and gpu...
and didn't have anything dedicated to their operating system.
I've heard that said discs are CAPABLE of being triple-layer.
Granted most PS3 games don't fully utilize its (blu-ray's) potential, nor did Wii developers capitalize on dual layer pseudo-dvd discs.
you clearly don't understand how computers and consoles work differently when it comes to running games.
the wii has 2 gb of what i will wildly assume is crazy fast ram.
wild guess.
i know.
the 360/ps3 have 512 mb of memory.
TOTAL.
360 shared it between its cpu and gpu.
ps3 split it 50/50.
and pc's have more memory because windows is (generally) a memory hog.
so the wii now gets... 1 gb ...
Okay so it's not the iPad 3's A5X persay...
But is a dual core iteration of it?
Apple made this needlessly confusing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
...since the last time i turned on my wii, i believe they have.
