Rushed or not there are a lot of people that will still buy it at launch. If it fails on them after the one year warranty they will just buy another One. My younger brother is on his 3rd 360 and i know people that have purchased up to 8 of them. As much shit as M$ will get if this happens they will also be getting that $. Just like this gen and that's their ultimate goal.
My biggest issue with X1 is Kinect. The whole being watched all the time thing is creepy, even though M$ may not abuse it, web cams get hacked all the time so some outside source can. Also if you ever want to take your X1 on vacation not only will where ever you are going have to have wifi, you'll need a duffle bag to carry the load. At least one controller, Kinect, the giant system, the power brick, and all the cables. It's not convenient at all.

I think you mean current gen because the GameCube did not beat out the PS2. Also this gen isn't over so there is no winner yet.
My TV already has 4 HDMI ports and if i want to change it i hit the input button on the remote. It's sounds like a lot of work i know. :s) Also why would anyone want to have their game and tv up on the screen at the same time? When i play games im not interested in tv and vice versa. This feature seems like it would only be appealing to someone with ADD.

@dc did you even read the article? He just said it could be implemented. It's not like SONY is banking on the cloud like M$ going around spreading BS saying their console will be 4x as powerful because of the cloud. The PS4 will be more powerful than X1 because of hardware and no one can deny that. Even the author said it's all still "rubbish" at the end.
