Warhawk is good for the kiddies but Halo 3 easily crushes Warhawk. I have played Warhawk and the ground combat is BORING, 3 vehicles is a joke, sniping is last gen, terrible voice communicating which pretty much takes the tactical edge away, and a whole crap load of network problems (terrible stat-tracking, disconnects, takes forever to join games, etc...) The only fun I had was having dogfights in the air. They should of stuck with their original idea and kept it an air combat game. <...
Well hopefully the excuse of IGN, Gamepro, Gamespot, etc... being biased towards Microsoft will end with this review. Edge is one of the good ones. It's pretty much unanimous that Lair is a joke. And it's no secret that Halo 3 just pwns all but it's good to see that my beloved PGR series is getting good marks. PGR4 is another AAA title.

You guys don't know the definition of "over-hype" It's a game that has alot of hype but doesn't come thru in the end. Lair and Heavenly Sword is a perfect example. Both games were supposed to rule all and it didn't. Lair is a joke and Heavenly Sword averaged 81% and is a flop in sales. Only 70k sold. Pathetic. Ov...

Why do you sony fools keep comparing GT to PGR??? It's not the same type of game. Compare it to Forza since Gt is a sim. Btw, Forza 2 averaged 90%. The PGR series is the best competitive arcade racer available. The kudos system is one of the most innovative gameplay idea ever in a racer. There is no equal to the PGR series. Especially not in the ps3.

Nope! Your all wrong. The 360 had one of the best gaming launches in gaming history. Call of Duty 2 averaged 90 and up on Day 1, PGR3, Oblivion, Dead or Alive 4, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero, Dead Rising, Graw, etc..
The 360 was a MONSTER on day one, the ps3 is still a baby.
Gears of War was just one of those rare games that come out and absolutely blow everybody's mind.
Of course the ps3 will eventually get some AAA titles, my guess is Uncharted...
Exciting times for real gamers! How can you not be excited about this if you are a real gamer??? The gamestop in San Francisco looked like a freaking MTV music awards event. Live bands, skylights, media...No other video game in history has brought this much buzz. Not Final Fantasy, Not MGS, Not Zelda, and Not Metroid. Those are good games but Halo has reached the mainstream. Non gamers know who Master Chief is. And that is a rare accomplishment.
Yes, the 360 is CRUSHING the ps3 in the gaming department. Disagree all you want sony boys but those are the facts. And using the whole "it will be on the pc" excuse is lame. You need a high end PC to run these games at the same level as the 360. Atleast a Core 2 Duo and that is definitely the minority in the PC world. Most users still use Pentium 4 and for most users that is all you need for you basic PC usage.
You sony boys are full of denial and excuses. Fact is the PGR franchise has always been high in ratings and sales. There is nothing on the ps3 that can compete with the arcade fun of PGR. Don't try to compare GT with this game since they are 2 different games. The 360 has the best of both worlds. Forza (Sim) and PGR (Arcade) The 360 is definitely the system for racer lovers!
I think what Halo has done is bring a video game into the mainstream and very few have done that. I think it's pretty safe to put Master Chief right next to giants like Mario and Pacman as famous video game characters. As you can see, it's been a LONG time that a game has done that. A very rare and exciting accomplishment.

ps3 has about 17 games rated 80-90 and a bunch of those are better on the 360.
