Cmon now kid. The ps3 for the longest time was the cheapest bluray player on the market. Bluray players have just recently gotten cheaper. Aye, so much ignorance on here.
You can throw every excuse in the book if you like but it doesn't change the fact that the 360 has a larger better gaming library. You might be more interested in the ps3 than the 360 but I have no reason to buy a ps3. I have played and beat Uncharted, Resistance 1 & 2 and liked those games but not enough to buy the system. I say it time and time again. The majority of ps3 owners are in it for just the bluray player. I have 4 relatives that own a ps3 with a nice collection of blurays but zero ps3 games.

Only one reason is needed. The 360 has quality and quantity over the ps3 in the gaming department. Just look at this graph.

The 360 crushes the ps3. Add the fact that most multiplatform games play better on the 360 and you can clearly see why gamers are choosing the 360 as their gaming platform.
I didn't say I hate the ps3 games. I'm just saying that their isn't anything on there that I really want to play over and over. Don't like MGS and LBP is to kiddy for me. I agree that it only shows 2 days of sale so we'll just have to wait for another month to see the real impact it has created. But you have to agree that the sales have been seriously declining so don't expect huge numbers. The second week dropped 50% and the third week dropped another 50%. People here put to much emphasis on 1st party, 2nd part, 3rd party. Who really gives cares? I don't care if it came from a 8th party. All I know is that Mass Effect is NOT playable on the ps3. Gears of War is NOT playable on the ps3. I don't care who it came from.

No seriously this is only for 2 days of sale but you have to look at the fact that sales dropped 50% on the second week and another 50% the third week so don't expect HUGE numbers.

Very true. Killzone 2 is just all looks with no personality. The game looks good but so does Gears 2 and Gears 2 has a lot more personality and distinctive differences from the rest in the shooter genre.
