A game cant be over rated if it still sells well almost 2 years after its release. Halo 3 is even outselling newer ps3 games like Resistance 2 in some parts of the world. It's the number 1 game played on Xbox Live. That is a game that deserves its high ratings my friend.
The fact is many rabid sony fans here are starting to show their frustration with Killzone 2. They desperatly want it to be a AAA title but most of them are already bored with it.

Well Microsoft had owned the last couple of E3's so I don't expect anything less.

Halo 3 is possibly the best fps of all time. Everything from its great creative selection of weapons (Spartan Laser best weapon ever) to its great unique map design. Add perfect control and you can see why it's second to none.
I personally just play Horde on this with my friends. But matchmaking took about 30 seconds to get.
Why on Earth are they not working on their good franchises like Panzer Dragoon???

Fact is many gamers that believed the hype and bought the game were disappointed. The control was a mess, weak selection of weapons, weak variety of enemy, just a dull experience over all. The game is averaging 90.88% over all which is a great score but contrary to popular belief by the sony fans, it is NOT the best shooter on the market. It's not even close.
If it's not hurting the current Xbox sales than why would it hurt the next?
Game did have a few glitches here and there but that didn't stop it from being my number 1 game of all time.
One of my top 5 next gen titles. This is going to be a big game for me.
