I tried it. Thought the game was boring. Weak selection of weapons, weak variety of enemy, mutliplayer offers nothing new, control is non responsive. I'd give the game a low score also. We could be looking at possibly the most over rated game of all time.

Really? I just finished it and had a blast. And I'm loving the online action too. And this is coming from a hardcore Starcraft fan. I would call that a major success dude.
That was fun level. Out of all the levels I probably had the hardest time with the mission where you have to keep the 5 Rhinos alive.
Oh wait. Your talking about the mission where you have like 20 minutes to save your buddies, right? Yeah that's a tough one. I'm not going to tell you how I beat it tho' I failed my first time with just a few seconds. Damn i was pissed.
I just finished Halo Wars. DAMN THE LAST FEW CGI VIDEOS WERE INSANELY AWESOME!!!!! CRAZY ACTION!!!! That's all I'm going to say.

The problem is that sony fans always boast their exclusives selling an insane amount of copies. Reality check time. The game was way over rated. The game had zero personality and plays exactly the same like every other shooter on the market. I know a few of my coworkers that returned it and went back to COD4. But I mostly blame the low sales on believing that the majority of ps3 owners are non gamers. I know at least 5 people that own a ps3 and a big collection of blurays and zero games...
It's more like jealousy.

Well NPD equals North America and probably makes around 40-50% of the gaming market. That's why people put a lot of emphasis on NPD. It's the number 1 gaming market in the world.
Why don't these recent charts ever show actual sales numbers? I bet they would be extremely low compared to United States. I'm willing to bet that you can add The Netherlands, Spain, France, and all the other small gaming markets and still wouldn't equal the United States.
