I own a Ps3 but I dont think the graphics will ever be on par with X360. It's becoming obvious that the ps3's ram is a problem. The textures always take a hit in ps3 versions and I've never seen a ps3 with parallex mapping, something that even some 360 launch games have. Also, 360 often has better frame rates, probably due to the superior poly pushing power of the GPU.

Soul Calibur was one of my favourite Dreamcast games. 360 is the perfect place for a remake, the controller layout of should translate perfectly.
I dug out my DC and played this not so long ago. The graphics have help up suprisingly well for a game which was released in 1999. Should look awesome in HD.
Halo 3 and other games have map editors.

360 and pc development are very similar. Chances are that the 360 version will be superior due to ease of porting. Im not saying the ps3 version will not be good, but the chances of it being better than the X360 version are pretty slim.
This game should be a good test of power for both PS3 and X360.
I'm curious to see which versions holds up best against the PC.
I will probably still buy it on 360 tho. Just cos my mates are on there. I reckon it will look better on 360 too.

And yeah, I doubt those games will be AAA. UT3 is probably the best FPS ps3 will see in it's lifetime anyway.

but is just me or do some of the buildings in GT5 look like photographs pasted onto big flat polygons? the first pic is good example of what I mean......looks better in gt5, but looks quite 2d where PGR4 looks a bit turd, but more 3d looking.

Being an owner of both an X360 and a ps3 I can honestly say that this list uber biased. They obviously have not played the 360 version of Call of Duty as it does indeed have ever so slighly (not much tho) better textures on the 360.
Uncharted number 1 game on ps3 because it "could only have been made on the ps3"????
That is a terrible reason to be "best game" and anyone who thinks that the 360 could not produce the visuals of Uncharted is either 1. Blind...
Xbox 360 is doing fine. Not so long ago all the the internet was full of "PS3 is a failure" stories. If ps3 outsells xbox all this year, then it will be in trouble. I doubt it will.
It will probably be a better game if devs focus on 1 platform.

1. Uncharted is NOT Gears.
2. I have played uncharted. That is the reason I say that I would not like to play Gears on my ps3. I really wish that sony would release a new controller with offset analogue sticks and better triggers.

Halo 3 getting some love. It is one of the most overlooked games when people talk about graphics. Some parts of the game are stunning looking.

PGR4 looks better than both in my opinion. It's Cars a wicked looking and tracks are much, MUCH better than GT5
