This is a bit of a strange comparison - the results are exactly as one would expect.
The laptop used costs around twice as much as PS4, nevermind the outgoing ps3.
What I would like to see is a comparison of how well (if at all) a high end PC from the time of PS3's release could run it.
I said "Wow, look how blurry that is"
I don't believe him, I still have terrible memories of him saying..."when you see the graphics, you will say wow" and we all know how that turned out with the original Wii.
me wrong? no, I am not talking about crysis 2. I notice you say that you have 'played' both.... I own both. I have finished it on the 360, still playing on ps3. I can assure you that the framerate on the 360 version is not stable as you claim it is.
nor is the ps3 version to be honest, just that the drops have not been quite as severe as yet, from what I've played.
I have all versions (PC included)
defo impressive on all platforms. Console textures can be a little turd in places, but overall a good job.
Xbox is certainly a bit sharper than ps3 but i think that ps3 holds a more playable framerate.
Xbox has some hideous drops. Almost unplayable at times.
eh...... ps3 GPU is 500hmz...... it was originally going to be 550mhz but got a little downgrade before release. Plus most Mhz does not always equal most power when the chips are different.
I wonder if it will be Halo 'sub HD' Remake
Crytek are making an bit of an arse of the promotion on this game. They have set expectations way too high accross the board.
I think it is possible based on what I have seen of the PC version that the single player campain will look significantly better on all system than the multiplayer portion of the game which was developed by a different developer (Crytek UK, perviously 'Free Radical' the chumps who brought us the shoddy FPS Haze).
Still, the chances are that de...
I disagree....
I've played the pc demo on at 1080p on hardcore settings, then went back the poor old sub hd xbox version. Sure it has some aliasing, texture pop in, less impressive lighting and everything else, but it still maintains a fairly solid look considering it's on console. Perfectly playable in my opinion tho.
....and yes, I agree that it is better looking than Brownzone 3, i've been rather underwhelmed by it
Not trying to be a cause a fanboy arguement but Eurogamer agrees that the 360 version is superior, though not by much.

My thinking behind the contrast difference is that IW probably want to compensate for all the ps3 owners who use RGB full and dont realise that it just changes the reference revels to PC format (0-255) and in turn crush...
No suprises. Xbox edges it once again. The crowd looks sharper on 360 and and the playstation version seems to suffer from more jaggies as per usual. PS3 doesnt seem to do so well with filtering either from what I can see.
Eurogamer are not trying to give the 360 an advantage, both demos are slighty different in terms of time of day and stadium etc. Neither are particularly impresive looking anyway, so I wouldn't cry about it either way.
I won't say which is which
I agree, but it's because America have lower paying jobs.
I still think it would be a good idea for one of the big console companys to buy these guys out.
Wii is weak, but lets be honest, Wanted sucks. His game looks like a ps2 game in comparsion to gears 2 or killzone 2. I'd love to see a good developer put him in his place.
I hope ps4 can do that resolution at 240 frames per sec on 4 screens.
xbox 360 can't even do graphics
why is it that there is so much confusion around RGB full on ps3. It is PC standard much like expanded on 360 is (the only reason this was introduced on 360 was because vga connection looked washed out)
Still, I suppose it does give the illusion of a more solid picture at expense of fine dark grey detail and can work well for certain games. Wipeout HD looks fantastic on my Sony W4000 on RGB full whereas certain games like killzone has definate loss of detail in dark areas.
...
hip hop gamer is about as reliable as my first 360
