I try to stay somewhat neutral in my comments but Sony just blew me away. Best E3 conference ever. I haven't bought a console at launch since PS1 but I'm more than convinced to change that fact now.

Sadly Vita doesn't have enough titles that stand out. It's a shame because Vita itself is amazing.
@drpepperdude Well yeah I'm not going to be amazed by a controller. I agree that Wii U doesn't have a momentum like Wii had. I still have no doubt that it will have it's moments.

Because better hardware = better everything right? No. Wii U might not compete against One/PS4 with multiplats but it can have great exclusives.

I thought Hayter's voice was great as Old Snake. He really sounded like a tired old mercenary Solid Snake had become. It was great.
But when I played Peace Walker, that didn't sound nearly as good because Big Boss is a different kind of character. He felt emotionless and tired. Every MGS fan knows that Big Boss is a charismatic character and he didn't sound like it at all in Peace Walker.

It's not that it will be a bad game. It's their choice of platform. I really hate virtual buttons on a touchscreen. I also don't believe mobile casuals will buy this game unless it's dirt cheap.

They showed some gameplay at the show. This trailer is all about story.
It's pretty good. You could say it copies God of War style hack 'n slash and has a few Shadow of the Colossus like bosses. If you like that and do not have a mindset like "THEY COPY THIS AND THIS LOL THEY SUCK" or "THIS ISN'T METROIDVANIA STYLE THIS SUCKS" then you're probably gonna enjoy it.

Yeah the community made a 180 degree turn again. Gotta give credit that this is the only negative feature of the system.
What they could do is bundle a 3 month subscription to lure in customers. Once I went PS+ there was no going back. Excellent service.
