I would import games mostly from NA since I'm European. However there's no need to import right now since EU seem to get everything NA gets. That was not the case for many NDS games.

It's called a point-and-click adventure game. Very old genre. The genre was pretty popular in the past but not many makes those kinda games anymore. Which is a shame.
There was some problems last week which is understandable since it was the first time they used NA/EU servers. Plus it's a beta what do you expect? A demo that has no bugs?

I don't mind that it's an action RPG. What I do mind is the fact that they have already announced sequels. As you said, FF has always been about change. Not this gen since we only got FFXIII games and FFXIV. Do you really want only FFXV games for next-gen? I sure don't.

3DS has been out over 2 years (damn time flies) and only now it's getting noticeable games more regularly.
FFVII must have been your first FF if you say PS/PC are the original FF platform.
FF never had the same platform exclusivity as Halo and Pokemon.
