Fair enough. I would say most of those games you listed resemble modern console games while Nintendo handhelds usually get more oldschool games.
Man I really hope Sony can make me want a Vita sooner than later. So far it has some nice games but there hasn't been any real system sellers for me. Which is a shame since I really liked what PSP offered to me.

Hmm.. I've always wondered about this "giving console like games". What makes a game console or handheld like? Is it just the graphics or maybe something else entirely? Not trying to bash Vita or whatever, I'm just curious.
For me it's Pokemon, Bravely Default and Zelda. I am looking forward to many other releases but those are my top 3. 3DS's library is really catering to my tastes and it's getting even better at it.
I certainly do even if the second screen is mostly used for maps and other UI stuff. It's pretty convenient.
If the game was worth a 10 when it was released then it's worth it later too. Downgrading a good game just because something new comes out is silly.
Have you seen Sony's low rating and their money affect what they provide for us? I certainly haven't so their rating and money doesn't matter to me as a gamer at all.

Funny how he says "betraying this game’s JRPG roots" when most JRPGs don't have much character customization in the first place.
FFXIV has very good character creation although I would appreciate more face options, very flexible class system, rich amount of armour with the option to dye them plus more.
In short, yes he's drunk or he didn't play the beta long enough. Could be both too.

I never liked F2P games. I don't like how those who open their wallet more has an advantage over those who don't. Funny how many people spend more money in F2P games than in P2P games.

They wouldn't go multiplatform even if they quit making home consoles (which they won't). They would just focus on handhelds and release their titles there.
People seem to believe that Nintendo is in trouble. They're not. Wii U is struggling at the moment but to think that alone will be Nintendo's doom is beyond ignorant.

To be fair 3DS gets some of the best JRPGs too. Vita seems to get more 'modern' ones while 3DS gets them more oldschool.
