Agreed, but you can't fault Nintendo on that, dual analogue multiplayer shooters just happened to become the hot new shit and Halo was a juggernaut. Even very few industry insiders could see that coming. Plus I got mine solely for the amazing sega sequels/launch games. Cant say the same about Scorpio as its mostly gonna be an uninspired shooter-box given how crappy Wall St. speculation has made gaming..
70+ kiddie games are NOT the games True Nintendo fans want. We used to have the most VARIED library of games and now its mostly kiddie filler.

Nintendo was "Innovating" when their hardware AND software were elevating 2D and later 3D game presentation to new heights. Mario 64 introduced Perspective corrected Non-warpy polygons and smooth 360° analogue control, Gamecube brought bumpmaps, mip maps and programmable shaders, Wii brought motion controls but they stopped innovating on game presentation which is a shame, and WiiU was just a half-assed piece of garbage from the get-go. So glad I bought the launch PS3. backwards compatibility and the card readers were amazing. Being able to smoothly play 1080p blu-ray rips of the newest movies straight from a usb hard drive without CONSTANT X360 media updates was just icing on the cake. Thing was more beast than a 1500$ PC at the time. I would have bought Nintendo NX if it was the same price as a launch PS3 and had promised jaw dropping visuals

Im excited about the Scorpio and I havent even gamed on Xbox since the non xbone xbox-1 days (and a lil 360). Curious to see if it can do VR at 1080p per eye. RE7 will be played on that if it does😊😊 could give a rats ass about most ShooterboxOne games though. They need a diverse lineup like the OG Xbox days (Sega exclusives like a JSRF and Panzer Dragoon Orta sequel would help immensely)
