would be cool
unfortunately
jesus that looks amazing. when i pictured a next-gen zelda game THIS is what i had in mind. not that steaming pile of a graphics demo that they showed for Zelda U that didnt even look like a first gen 360 game.
I remember when buying something less powerful for more money was about stupidity not just blind brand loyalty
the WiiVii-R. VR so underpowered you would swear the games were still in 2D lol
that would be sweet. the 3DS launched in 2010 didnt it? the successor will probably be announced or hinted at this or next years E3 since that would make it 5 years. and since they dont have a conference this year i doubt itll be for this year. still tho im thinking Masterimage 3D superwide cell matrix display with 720P per eye or some type of lightfield/holoscopy based 3D display that does away with banding/3D image loss all together or maybe holographic stereograms with eye tracking that ch...
yeah a fad. do you have any idea how many 3D related patents and amazing high-resolution glasses free 3dtvs there are out there that are bogged down by standards and other dumb things? your children and your childrens children will all game on "fad" displays then. but you most likely wont have kids.
the virtual MAN
no, because THATS what its actually worth. a pure games machine should never be more than 200$, a multimedia machine with mature games and stories to actually capture gamers imaginations? that's another story;)
Because nintendo showed us they dont want to make a profit when they came out with this console that they know DOES NOT capture the imaginations of gamers like other more valuable consoles are doing (value features-wise and future game prospect wise)
i dont get why everyone is downvoting the guy who said it should be 180$. I would pay even less for it after seeing that embarassingly weak zelda U graphics demo (dont lie, it was just a twilight princess re-skin with slightly shinier environments and they still can't do reflections on the shield?really??((even the crescent moon shield had a reflectice surface in Ocarina of Time)). nintendo shot themselves in the foot when they decided to use cheap hardware, hence people arent buying thei...
I might get a PS4 version if it had 1080p 3D per eye in 60 fps. i didnt play the first ones but the demo to part 2 was pretty good. might check it out if it at least has all of that. if not, then this remake isnt worth crap. mass effect 3 barely came out like 1-2 yrs ago.
fine nintendo fanboys: ill concede with you on the early xbox360 era graphics they showed for the zelda U demo but at least agree with me that what made the old 64 mario and zelda games great was their mature tone and a REAL sense of danger if you didnt complete the task at hand (nintendo seems to have lost that dangerous spirit when they started developing new motion based control schemes/experiences but i like all their consoles). you HAD to save the princess and you HAD to save zelda becau...
well the day i hate nintendo is when they only give me kiddy games and revert once awesome 3D franchises (DK64) back to 2D on their NEXT-GEN SYSTEM. something is seriously wrong with this picture. when starfox babies: escape from the crib is their next awesome new 2D game coming to the WiiU dont say all these gamers disillusioned with nintendo's practices didnt have a reason to be.
RE: code veronica 2 please. no co-op, panta rhei engine, fixed camera angles, continuation of the code veronica story in some way. obligatory badass intro cutscene with claire. chris not on steroids anymore. actual sense of danger* also no motion blur (fast karate punching isnt scary)
just make this game the successor to sonic adventure 2 and i will buy 2 WiiU's
I just want it to look better than past-gen games like uncharted 2. nintendo says their console is next-gen so lets see it. advanced lighting effects, reflections coming off link's shield, advanced animations, we saw none of that in the trailer. what they showed was basically if twilight princess had came out for the first few months of the 360's launch (graphics wise). i think some voice acting would be appropriate for the really key cutscenes (NPCS only though, not link)
good point because they sure as hell havent shown us anything yet.
couldnt have put it better: DOES NOT CAPTURE THE IMAGINATION. i know the wiiu copy and paste imagination kids will downvote me but VR\cutting edge graphics\next-gen physics and gameplay > what was essentially a copy and paste 3DS mario game for the big screen.
3DS advance = 720p masterimage 3D screen (has 500% better viewing angle than the current 3DS screen and can display 3D in portrait mode) at least dual 8mp cameras with no recording limit and software to convert stereoscopic photos/movies into lightfield based images that dont degrade when the viewing angle is exceeded (software refocus. HTC one M8's camera does this to a degree). more accurate motion sensing for VR like window-looking into stuff and dual thumb sliders. a system like that ...
