pull a SEGA? you mean create games that innovated in the gameplay AND graphics department? (480p rez at 60FPS while PS1 and n64 were doing 320x240i with no online play) yeah they definitely arent going to do that, so dont worry ;) that'd be like them releasing a 4K capable system with every title being MMO capable after the PS3/360. yeah, if you cant tell the author of this post is a ninty fanboy.
hated revelations' enemies. couldnt even finish it on my PC. chapters idea was dumb. loved every other RE before RE6
before anyone compares to SEGA. Sega was making games that pushed graphics AND GAMEPLAY when the DC got discontinued. nintendo..well......you know.

THIS is what next gen games should be about. looks like it will actually be challenging. better graphics and a harder challenge, i hate that devs want their games to be so easy that everyone and their grandma could finish them. yes you spent a lot of money developing your game/interactive movie, so make sure that it poses a challenge to you know...actual GAMERS
that actually sounds fairly reasonable and not too crazy at all.
it may not be "broke" but there are definitely some aspects of it that can be improved. for example most people play with the 3D off because of how terrible the resolution in 3D mode is leading people to say that they "hate 3D", leading nintendo to put out the 2DS which to me kinda symbolizes that something is fundamentally wrong with the product when you make a new version without the biggest feature/talking point of the last one you made.
done with the whole 2 screens to just show a map. if the new device has a pause button where we can check a map im sure we'll be able to find our way around just fine;) however they could definitely use that power to build on the 3DS strengths though: masterimage autostereoscopic 720p per eye screen (has a 500% better viewing angle than the 3DS's screen and reverts to 2D mode when viewed off angle, has been available since 2010) dual sliders or analogue sticks, hardware a little ahead...
auto stero displays that use lightfield 3D > 4K. PS5 better be able to atleast handle VR (3D) at 1080p 60fps per eye with raytraced graphics.
you could probably get that on new games when the 2016 4k cards come out. but id rather have 150fps 1080p 3D for both eyes
I agree that 60 FPS per eye is SUPER important for 3D or else eye strain could occur (in 2D the frame rate boost doesnt super alleviate any eye issues). i did also enjoy JSRF a little more than i did JGR because of the smoother frame rate but i missed JGR's spray mechanics:/ so 60 FPS DOESNT MAKE THE GAME BETTER or inherently worse by default but it does help with immersion.
gta was multiplat since gta 3-SA came out on the first xbox, MGS2 subsistence also was on the first xbox
yeah but they already had this game out on gamecube and you can play it in widescreen 1080p on dolphin. RE:2 on the other hand DOES deserve to be remade because it is not out currently.
they should have called it the nintendo Revolution. i thought the wii would be so cool because of that codename, and then they changed it to wii :/
game was never intended for 60FPS, that said this is a GAMECUBE game. it ran at 480p back on the GAMECUBE. theres no reason why it couldnt run at 1080p/60FPS on the PS3/360 let alone the next gen versions.
if they "listened" to what fans wanted they would have remade RE:2 with all the fan petitions and stuff but nooooo. instead they thought "hey, we already got RE:1 remade lets just release it on non nintendo systems now" thats basically what they did. No appeasement of the RE fans whatsoever.
this blows. wouldve rather got nothing than this. since it was made with amd hardware on the cube they were just like "lets just uprez it using the power of the new amd cards in new consoles" and called it a fuckin' day. thats capcom for you now.
