I really hope so. The demo they showed was really weaksauce. it just looked like an uprezzed TP. static lighting on link's face. no reflections coming off the shield (even OoT had that crescent moon shield that reflected in a badass way). it was a little disappointing to be completely honest with nintendo.

there is truth to what you say but im definitely hoping for some surprises from all companies. remember Dark Rift for N64? that game was super awesome and super creepy. one of the most underrated fighters ive ever played and it gave me nightmares lol. a T rated game. imagine a hardcore ass 3rd party game like that coming from nintendo. but we live in different times :/

Dreamcast revivals are VERY welcome. a new powerstone with online play and a new JSR would blow my mind. im thinking sony franchises like a crash revival or a new jet moto would please a lot of oldschool hardcore heads too. dont really care about syphon filter, done with shooters in general.

CV was easily creepier/better than RE:2 i recently beat RE:2 on my Dreamcast in 480p and theres no comparison. I remembered my friend playing RE:2 on the PS1 and remembering when i first got RE:CV in 2000. the emotion and humanity in Claire's face immersed me in the resident evil universe like never before compared to the stiff movements/blocky faces of the PS1 games, it was a HUGE leap forward.
they really did. trying to make them look like supermodels/ hulked out bodybuilders. Claire in CV was just the girl next door. my first digital crush.
RE:CV is the best game in the franchise by far. the tension and creepyness were all but gone from the series when you had characters narrating and talking for ungodly amounts of time like in RE:4-6. also dont include motion-blur, i want this game to feel like a resident evil, not an action movie.

PS4 can already do tiled resources faster and better than xbone thanks to the unified faster RAM. it will improve at a faster rate than xbones ability to do tiled resources and in 1080p:) enjoy it in 720p though, we can already tell which overpriced underpowered console you want to buy ;)

i liked the uber creepyness of RE:2 but i definitely loved RE:4's gameplay more. if they can capture that sense of dread all the while still having fancy graphical effects (except motion blur because it takes away the tension RE games used to be so good at doling out) then they'll have my support. RE:5 and 6 were too action-y though, the creepyness and dread that made RE:2 so memorable was almost completely non-existent in those games :/
yes. this. this so goddamn much. CV was a revelation on my dreamcast (play it in 480p on the DC with a VGA cable on a Plasma TV and tell me the graphics arent fucking amazing). RE:3 looked like complete ass compared to CV and yet people were still playing on their PS1's patiently awaiting PS2. it didnt make any sense to me. Claire was my first digital crush. the opening CG cinematic was the epicest thing ever in gaming period. imagine if the graphics of a theoretical CV:2 looked like that...
