Scrumptious, stop flaming on everything PS3. If you really hate it that much make some thoughtfull arguments instead of childish pokes.
Sony's consule is hard to code for, but people said that about the PS2 also. Developers will get used to it and this is exactly what Sony should be doing. Maybe its a little bit late, but I'm sure they've taken the time to uncover as much as they could and that they wouldn't give out any bad advice.
Games are formatted on Blu Ray discs. So people would be screwed if they bought any of the launch games. They have to be played in a Blu Ray player. It's been a rough start, and it isn't near over, but Blu Ray has a good chance. Putting aside the movie aspect, Blu Rays hold more data than DVDs or HD-DVDs so developers will find the exta room a welcome, and give developers more room to make longer, bigger, and hopefully better games. I mean with both systems charging 60 for a game I'd hope tha...
I think MS is content with the machine they have now, and I just dont see them releasing a v2 of the 360. If anything, MS is working on their next consule, and not a v2 of the 360. There is a small chance though, but that's about 1/100. Secondly, I'm pretty sure MS would be the ones to release this kind of information, and not some news post. And I'm sure the picture would be of better quality, I mean just look at the lighting. Once again, maybe, but this is very unlikely.
that the 360 can do a lot of stuff that the PS3 can not (upscaling/downscaling, excellent online service, etc.)But people do have to realize that the PS3 can do some impressive things on its own that the 360 cant do. It has a web browser, plays blu ray (I know some people don't really care about that but it is something that MS doesn't have), free online service, an hdmi output, built in wireless(if you have the 60 GB), and multiple access points for USBs, SD cards and so on.

But it is a weakness. I'll compare it to football. You can have an amazing defense and special teams, and that can win you a lot of games, but a poor offense will give you problems. MS did fine without the Japanese market, but it is a chink in their armor that Sony and Nintendo will exploit by selling mass amounts of games for that market and make them money. So it doesn't matter to MS in the sense that they are losing money, but it matters to MS in the sense that its competition being Sony a...
This article was suppose to be a joke. Don't take such offense. And people seriously have to STOP saying "well i walked into Best Buy and they had PS3s everywhere." You went to ONE store out of the thousands of different retailer locations in the U.S. MOST locations have sold out of the PS3 and Wii. Barely anyone has sold out of the 360. Thats not a rip, its just that MS has its production controlled and isn't allowing shortages.
before that this was a step towards the PS3 in my last comment. I meant this was a next step towards the PS4.
Sony and Nintendo will make a lot of money out of that country. However, this isn't anything new or crushing for MS. They did fine with the xbox not selling in Japan, and so will the 360.
These chips might be implemented in the new slimmed down PS3s that I'm sure will come out like the PS2 and PS1 versions did. More likely though, this is just the next step towards PS3. With IBM and Toshiba working on Chip, nVidia working on the GPU, and better blue diodes coming, it'll be a good machine.
Its obvious that both Sony and MS are already thinking next-next gen and the two machines they release will be phenomanel (spelled wrong).
MS did everything right. I'm not going to rag on the doubters because honestly, MS pulled off something extremely hard. I doubted the 360, but I'm impressed and congrats are given. I'll go and make a guess that the Wii gets to 10 mill around October and the PS3 will be close, but not quite to 10 mill come next holiday season.
It's more of a way around the problem as Sony really needs to release a firmware update to fix it, but this will do in the meantime.
But I'm pretty sure I remember a TON of magazines calling the xbox a failure and the 360 a doomed attempt by MS, but I never really agreed with them cause the xbox was good and the 360 has turned out fine. Yet a lot of the same people who denied those magazines and news papers for their MS comments are agreeing with them on the PS3 issue. Its sad because all these articles are judging the PS3's future because of its launch. People know that ALL launches suck. And by people I mean the average ...
The games provide two different feels, so to really compare them you have to go strickly on specs and what each provides. GOW has online co-op, great. RFOM has 40 LAG FREE multi matches, brilliant. RFOM has more vechiles (spelled wrong). GOW has better graphics. You can make what ever conclusion you want out of the two, but I find more fun with Resistance.
As for people saying it doesn't matter that RFOM is a launch title and GOW is a 2nd gen game because the developers had the...
But RFOM is still an amazing game. I would say that I enjoy RFOM online play better than GOW's online play though. Still, both games are amazing and if you got the money, play em both, you wont be disapointed in either.
MS simply has more professionals in the field and have had more first hand experience with the interent. I'm sure that Sony has its own specialists, I bet some that have worked for MS even, and will make the service more reliable. As before, it was just the Video Service went down for a bit. Disapointing, yes. Expected, yes. Really that big of a deal, not really. The service will end up reaching MS level quality soon, and I'd say be on par with it by the end of 07.
But I think Halo deserved to be in over a couple of the series even though it hasn't been out too long compared to the others.
I just wanted to shove that mic down his throat. He makes PS3 fans look like tards.
Shocking, but there is reasoning. For one, Wii's were actually bricked because of the faulty update. More Wii's were 'bugged' out than PS3s. As far as launch line ups go, they both sucked. PS3 had RFOM, and Wii had Zelda. Wii gets the hands up on inovation and cost. PS3 gets the graphics. But really, I hate comparing the two because the experience on the two consules are totally different.
This has the potential to get out of control. The data is on the disc. Let's say it's the best weapon in the game for an RPG. So you buy the game for 60, but if you want the weapon, another dollar. Take it a step further. You buy an RPG for 60, but you only get one character, and its a 2 dollars for each other. Hell, they could start charging to unlock levels; entire chuncks of the story and game. Sure it doesn't seem like a lot when its a cheat code or one secret car, but this is princible. ...
I personally don't care about rumble, so it doesn't bother me that the steering wheel wont have force feedback. Racing wheels actually dont sell to the main audience of casual gamers, so this news will only get attention from hardcore racing fans. But Sony is disappointing that audience. However, if the developers incorporate it, then a third party controller should be able to implement force feedback.
