#11 Tony everyone's entitled to their own opinion but I just want to understand your thinking so give examples of other FPS's that have this unique innovation you speak of. I thought #11.1 Xi gave some great examples of just a "few" of the innovations in Halo3.

Well personally I think the writing is on the wall that it will come over to 360 sometime in the future. He sounded like a politician. I think at this point Konami's trying to balance the situation the best they can, since obviously given the constant rumors and the healthy fanbase of the 360 they have recognized the potential for substantial profits. -At the same time they most definitely don't want to harm there relationship with Sony of the fans so they don't want to "confirm"...

Yeah, I saw this game a couple months ago, but since then I haven't seen or heard anything....hmmm, its got my attention now. -squallsan's link says Track 7 is a new studio?....Well it looks great so far, the whole story sounds very good, and if they can nail the gameplay, I'd say this game would do alot to make their name well recognized.

I didn't say IGN never made a (honest)mistake, but in this case, like the vast majority of the time they explained their method and the results speak for themselves....big deal its just "upscaled" old games. I tried DMC myself and it didn't look much different, but hey I wasn't expecting some amazing change.

I just think his arguement is "flawed" only because he says he hates achievements because next gen gaming should be immersive enough without "cheap gimmicks". -Well its only and option so if you don't like them just play the game, you will get some just by playing through the game and the others are optional, but it can't hurt to have this "option" in a game.

IGN has one of the best reputations in the industry, which is why they get alot of interviews and previews from the majority of dev's and company exec's first along with games. - They explained in detail how they did the comparisons and although its by no means some kind of super laboratory research, IGN IS pretty reliable at their word.

Yeah R6: Vegas is a great game, but I think it only adds to my earlier comments, because you pointed out 4 ideas that you would call innovative but again....other than face integration, the other ideas have all by done in many games, R6: Vegas just adds its own flavor and does it really good or better than some others.
