It isn't bad optimization. This game runs smoother than pretty much everything released in ages. the game performs like a champ.

That does not mean it isn't optimised. The optimised textures ARE THE FUCKING Low-High settings. So to say it's not optimised means you have no idea what the hell the point of graphics settings are.
Wait, not being able to max a game these days = screwed? Then fuck are you guys smoking? The only think that requires that much are if you use the uncompressed textures. Low-high will still look amazing, and ultra will only be useful at much higher res than 1080p. The 4k and above.
He doesn't do enb profiles for modern games. They already have the features built in that ENB enabled on older DX9 games from day 1.

You know the irony of that is that's $3.99 from people who otherwise would not of purchased the game anyways. If people really want game bad enough they'll but it earlier than that.
Go look at how Alan Wake, or Dark Souls did on PC. Hell, even the Naruto game, or Skull Girls.

To be fair, not all JRPGs play like FF and Kingdom Hearts. Just look at the Souls series.
Honestly, they;re both on the same engine so I don't get why either. Both BF3 and BF4 are amazing looking games on PC even if they are also on consoles that are ancient. So, why would a game on the same engine suddenly benefit more than another just because it isn't going to older consoles?
The game looks like a more modern Dark Souls. I still haven't finished 1 or 2 yet. they bore me. I've been more of a monster hunter fan I guess.
