The only reason to do that is for the portability factor.
Games are going to take a hit on performance & visual quality though, like Dragon Quest Heroes 2.

Some people were knocking the environments/background, but they look good to me, going by those gifs.
Ants on a tree & evaporating puddles are details GG didn't even need to put into the game, it's going the extra mile.
Making a fire to create an updraft for your glider is a gameplay mechanic, not a detail.
Too early to say, Wii U had a great start also.
When you look at the gameplay in that trailer, it doesn't look that amazing, not what I'd expect from Polyphony Digital anyway.
These new gifs take it to PD standard.
Already saw this in game, pretty surprising detail.
That's a rather high score considering what we've seen of the game.

Remember when they were 30% done & it looked mediocre? LOL.
Now that looks amazing.
Narration/story gating is locking you off from going anywhere, so that you're forced to see the story & understand the world.
Being able to just go straight to the end boss & finish the game throws that away as well as the feeling of progression.
It's almost like making a huge map & plopping a bunch of locations down with no purpose, aside from getting off the plateau & Ganon's dungeon.
Hatred for online trophies is the same kind of hatred for online only games.
Servers aren't online forever meaning there's a deadline for how long you have access to a platinum.
Plus many online trophies are stupid, like being high in leaderboards, or hoping enough people even play online in the 1st place to help you get the trophies.
It's further frustrating if there's no way to communicate via the game, that you're aiming for a trophy...

After Digimon World Next Order didn't get localised & Hollow Realization didn't get proper optimisation I thought Namco Bandai were through with it.
Hope this one gets localised for the Vita!
Congrats but it took him a month & a half to get that, when in that amount of time he could have easily earned $300.
