Yes, slightly.
$249.99 would have been the magic mark at launch.
In the UK it's £279.99, which translates to $350 & a few cents.
Games.
Not expecting anything else tbh.
That's actually a bad thing.
That's the bread & butter of the console industry.
Get a PC if you don't like the idea.
I'd rather not have more & more servers running to get cloud compute working, on both sides of the fence, it doesn't help the global warming situation.
Probably, but that's what happens when you put newer hardware in your machine.
The reason for the mid-gen refreshes is because of AMD moving chip manufacturing onto newer chips, meaning Sony & MS would have to spend more to get hold of the older chips.

Not surprising that a just launched console would get more sales than consoles that have been on the market for around 4 years.
I remember there was a great levelling spot in midgar in the train tunnel, bunch of high rank enemies keep popping out of a door.
It was a great way of unlocking the party's level 3 limit breaks & random enemies dropped healing items a screen away.
The whole premise was Final Fantasy & Disney characters in Disney worlds to begin with, so I don't know how I'd feel if I could suddenly visit FF worlds.
I am SO glad the combat is the same as recent mainline DQ's (VIII, IX), with front view while selecting strategies & camera angles to show the action.
Without that front view it wouldn't feel like Dragon Quest to me.
World & roaming enemies looks magnificent, casino looks great fun as usual.
Characters look cool too.
I'm relieved that they didn't try to change the core mechanics like they do with FF.
So Scorpio exclusive games? What happened to not leaving anybody behind.
"next-gen HDMI"
huh.
It's about the games first, pushing the resolution & framerate past the current standard comes second.
"Something that used to be free now costs money."
That's something that has been said many times ever since MS entered the console industry.
I prefer Playstation IP's to Xbox IP's.
I go where the decent exclusives go & multiplats are the icing.
Woah, this sounds awesome.
Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 was always my favourite due to the sandbox.
Exactly.
I don't like that the gens are wonky now after the mid-cycle refreshes.
All AMD's fault for moving their chip manufacturing to other chips.
You're supposed to expand your player base, not only cater to one crowd.
Variety is important.
Maybe the same as the Xbox Pro Controller.
