[Druckmann: We have to dissect these subtleties, instead of just pointing to these tropes and saying, “Well, you have a woman dying, so you have a game where the death of a woman fuel’s this man’s story.” The discussion has to go deeper than that.]
Completely agree, great article.
Um, what?
Maybe with mods, but then it's no longer vanilla Skyrim as such.
Onimusha
Suikoden
Bloody Roar
Star Ocean
Breath of Fire (if Capcom don't completely kill it)
Valkryie Profile
Grandia
Legacy of Kain game
In no specific order.
There are probably more, but those are the ones that could stand a chance imo.
The thing is, coming up with a fighting game with truly original combat in this day & age, without people saying "Oh, well the combat borrows from so & so" is nigh on impossible.
Indies could do it, yeah, but bigger companies wouldn't take such a risk since it's bound to get a few "wtf"s from a lot of the audience imo.
If you are to say it's "just" a copy of another game, then we may as well just lump in every...

Welp, now I know BoF's dead.
Thanks Capcom.
With all of these 180's, the question has to be asked.
Why didn't they do this on day one?
Once Gaikai releases,
I'd assume we can just stream the games to PS4 that we've already downloaded on PS3 since they'll be in our PSN history.
So I doubt we'll have to repurchase them, there might be a small fee to use Gaikai though.
All these games coming out in 2014, Having to wait a year is going to kill me. D:
Hidden paths sound like they might be more fun to find.
Unrelated to this specific article, I'm looking forward to all of the secrets, like the monster breaking through a wall (after you've hurt it) in an earlier video.
I don't mind.
I really enjoyed Cole's story & the new MC with his brother look interesting.
Meeting Zeke in the new Infamous is still a possibility though.
Personally, I don't want any pixar levels.
I know it's owned by Disney, but it's not really Disney & the game was built on Square+Disney.
*cough*The Black Couldron please*cough*.
Not too fond of the look..
I guess I'd get used to it, just give me enough options to hide stuff & change themes etc.
"But as we zoom out"
OH MAH GAHD.
I want to explore that world.
Looks like the button input to climb is back as well, I think? Hopefully.
This Article needs a title change.
Atleast add "Ascension" in there, so people don't get the wrong idea.
Anyway, it's [Multiplayer DLC for God of War: ASCENSION], for anyone skimming through.
Looking forward to this, looks like Farcry, I just hope a decent amount of the main game revolves around assassinations.
I'm now curious, since they're taking AC in a Farcry direction, what will the next Farcry be like?
Ubisoft have really proven themselves with open world.
I'd love it if they returned to their roots & made another Soul Calibur like Soul Edge, I loved that game.
I'd like it if it evolved the combat, I suppose it'd have to look like TP or HD OoT for the animations I'd want, which would be similar to the fluid Witcher combat, you know?
I just think it'd be that much more rewarding in the game, after getting a new sword, or training, if Link started looking like he was becoming a professional swordsman.
I love RPG's, but I wouldn't want Zelda to change the format that much, the hearts are fine, t...
I really can't wait for this now, especially reading this:
"Enemy artificial intelligence has been drastically improved."
Yes!
The only negative I could take from that list is the locking on system being tweaked.
It depends on how responsive it is, or it could become a nuisance.
I find it odd that when people discuss their points for getting the One over the PS4, they bring up the controller.
It's been improved, all you hear is praise about the new PS4 controller, so why not give it a chance?
Also, why are we talking about current gen franchises as selling points?
It's a new generation, which most likely means new IP's, surely that's an interesting prospect too.
Think of all those talented dev...
I wouldn't want Atlus to be bought by any company, it would be a huge loss for others.
There must be some way of giving everyone Atlus experiences =/.
From an experience point of view, The Last of Us has my #1 spot, such a well told story with such believable characters.
I often maneuvered the camera so I could see Joel & Ellie's faces during ingame conversations, the facial animations gave another level of experience during ingame conversations, really fleshed out the characters.
I also have a soft spot for Infamous 1, the game was & still is amazing for me from a gameplay perspective.
