The engine that the game runs on has been improved. We know this too since R&C looked 10x better then resistance did. The dev's have already said that they've improved the engine with the same leap as they did between RFOM and R&C. Expect RFOM 2 to look bonkers. To top that off, we know details about RFOM2 that are sure to make the title that much better. 8 player online coop. 60 player online with the introduction of classes, squads and vehicles to control gameplay. Trust me man ... there were plenty of Die Hards trying to piss on the game simply because it wasn't going multiplat. I understand these are not rational PS3 fans but, they did exist.
I really hope it comes over to the PS3. Maybe I'm greedy but, I don't care. Quality games are always welcome to my console of choice.
sort of a sword or bow in his hand, he's OK. The second they strip the weaponry from him, his manliness meter goes down about 5 notches.
I sure hope they include some gameplay in the trailer. I was a little let down by the Motorstorm 2 trailer since it was all CG.
This game is right up there with KZ2 for me. I loved the first and can't wait to play the second. I'm getting sick off all the reliability issues that plagues COD4. RFOM was reliable, had a great friend making system, party system, clan support, matchmaking system, lagless servers and mic support. Something a lot of other games should learn from.
of PS3 fanboys yelling stuff like, "we don't care about Bioshock ... keep it ... yada yada etc etc."
to me this seems insane. While I understand why an xbox fan would want to keep the game exclusive to their platform, I don't see why anyone would want to turn down the chance to play this game.
I sure know that if Bioshock 2 (prequel) is PS3 bound, I'll be getting it.
by the end of this year, I'm hoping articles like this won't exist. By then, it should be rather apparent that, both systems have something for everyone to enjoy.
June 12th here I come.
Yup ... the experiences of those two employees must mean that all gaming stores are having the same problems. RIIIIIGHT. Until I see massive amounts of posts/articles all claiming failures, it's all just conjecture and BS.
I understand the xbox 360 has a bigger and more acclaimed library but, they also have more crap too. It's also been out a year longer so most of this should go without saying. If the 360 didn't have more AAA titles, then they should be seriously worried. Articles like this will lessen after this year. The numbers will start to even out.
It's approval and submission and creation is nothing more then an attempt at gaining degrees to the post and hits to the credited site.
...
"may be too challenging for some" means this game is going to be like it's predecessor. AWESOME. This game is about blood, slick looking graphics and a great and challenging fighting system. I hope they get the camera issue fixed and this game will totally kick ass.
What are you going to do with your name once the PS3 passes the 360 in total sales?
to people who want the game, can't wait but don't have the system. It's also means more software sales for that system if, people who own both consoles just get the game for the console in which it comes out on first.
Does it benefit the game dev's/publisher? That all depends on the deal being made for that time period of exclusivity.
knocking the voice overs on NG2 is a little bit more then nitpicking the small stuff. The series isn't known for it's grand story and plot. The games core values are blood, graphics and great fighting system and difficulty. All of these should be here.
Seriously ... picking on the voice overs is as bad as calling KZ2 Grayzone 2.
it was a wonderful game. It however was not a story driven game that brought out emotion with good voice overs and such. The series is popular for it's gore, graphics and difficulty. It has one of the better fighting systems I've played. As long as those elements are still in place, voice overs won't affect the final verdict at all.
MS is still busy getting JRPG exclusive titles. Does the PS3 even have one? By the time the two big RPG titles come out(White Knight Chronicles and FFXIII), the system will have been out in Japan for over two years. That's way too long to wait to penetrate a market that Sony is supposed to be dominating in. Hell ... it's one of the reasons I bought a PS3. I like RPG's and so far even this American is feeling a little left out.
but this also means that at least 84% of the people want a Blu-Ray player as well. Unless they're all buying standalone units, they PS3 should be moving more consoles in Japan. I know it's lacking some JP style games but, it's not like sales in Japan are stellar by any means.
I'm hoping FFXIII helps to change that but who knows. The victory of Blu-Ray hasn't had the same affect in Japan as it's had in the EU and the States.
has been really confusing this gen. They all want/buy Blu-ray yet the PS3's aren't flying off of the shelves. HD-DVD almost never existed in Japan too. I know that PS3 lacks a lot of games that the Japanese like (FFXIII, MGS4, GT5, JRPG's) but, some of the games they like are here and yet nothing is really taking off. What's taking them so long to dive in? Meanwhile, they swarm to the Wii like flies on sh1t.
and he's going to love me one month later. NOt really all that concerned.
What's with all these sex in video games articles lately? Honestly ... someone is really looking way to hard to find tiger balls. Some of those others were a stretch too. That boxing one was almost NSFW though.
has outsold the 360 all year this year, how long do you consider the foreseeable future to be?
I beat it on all difficulties and felt the game was long and challenging. Multilayer is where the longevity of the game comes into play though. If a game is solid, I'll play through the game twice or more but, with a good online component, I'll play the game for MONTHS.
RFOM2 looks to improve in all areas for it's second outing. I can't wait.
