it my be the sleeping recipient of "you know what" that might have prevented it?
most of the time I just can't stomach going around and around for 6 hours on those endurance races. I usually play the game to about 85%. If they nail the online in the final version, I might not even finish that much.
so far up your rear that your eyes are turning green. There's a reason every preview that just game out is calling this game amazing. It's because they can see this game for what it is. You, on the other hand, cannot.

This Christmas is going to be interesting.
It was insanely fun. I still pick it up and toss it in. Online made the replay value even better. The lack of split screen made it not so fun to play with people though. That's were it really lacked. The customization of characters and cars and music just adds icing to an already awesome game.

With video games, they feel they can get away with it. People will buy the damn game based off of the name alone.
I think Sony, and the industry in general, underestimated the power Wii. The PS3 is doing just fine against the 360.

Not much in the article other than an opinion on the recent previews of the game. I read them all last night and even though I was stoked on this game before, I share his feeling that those previews only aided in making me MORE stoked.
Those were my two biggest complaints as well. Adding split-screen and ingame music tracks is awesome.
BTW ... since some companies are implementing ingame custom music with their titles, does that mean that ingame music won't come from the XMB? Are they putting this stuff on the shoulders of the devs and the software rather then the hardware?
MS half-ass backed HD-DVD. They could have done this to slow BD's success to leave room for DD or, they could have done this to garauntee that their console hits the market first (year in advance). If they went in this full force, they would have added and HD-DVD player with all consoles and it would have come out close to the PS3 and at almost the same price.
MS might not even be in the position it's in with the console had they gone in full force. Who knows how the 360 would ha...

and Too Human are new IP's aren't they? They've even got a new exclusive JRPG coming out this year for them right? They have a good grasp on the hardcore market too which is why the console sells so many games. I don't think MS really needs to worry. I always thought the PS3 would surpass the 360 in sales but, MS will still end up making money for the first time ever and, will more then likely gain in market share from last gen. That's a success if you ask me.
