game every time I see it. It' has gotten much better but, is it too little to late. Hopefully they iron out whatever needs ironing soon cause it's out soon. Definitely waiting on reviews and a rental before I purchase the game.
since your comment fits that bill to a tee.

game sales has nothing to do with the quality of the game. If it did, Madden wouldn't sell. Neither would Army of Two. There's plenty of games out there that sell but are total crap. That goes both ways too as some games rock and don't sell that well.
I know you're agitating the "wild and out there" Sony die hards but, the game is going to be killer and you know it. IGN didn't say anything negative either.
I have a feeling that GT5 will sell more consoles then the prologue.
@RAWG:
I'm starting to wonder about the Japan market as well. If FFXII doesn't boost sales then, I don't know what will. I don't think it's a hand held thing, otherwise the Wii wouldn't be doing so well over there.
it's never been a "very soon"
;)
I hate when people look at it like that. It's a chance for the PSN community to meet others in a 3D realm. You can randomly meet people on the PSN and see what games they like, share info etc etc. People can come to your home and stream media from your PS3. You can launch from home into a game. Each game is going to have trophies much like achievements. These are displayed in Home. There's going to be arcade like games. There's supposed to be a movie theater. Games like Warhawk will even supp...
preview some posts down on the main page. They speak as highly of the gameplay as the do the graphics. This game will be killer.
because there's a good portion of the internet population that are 360 supporters who feel Gears still hasn't been matched. I tend to disagree but, saying this puts the quality of the graphics into scope for large amounts of people. Even the ones with blinders on.
that way one will never be let down if something comes up. Still ... it's been a while and recent events and news points to Home coming soon.
I might be breaking my own rules here but, I just can't help but get excited. I've had a PS3 since launch and have watched the console fall into place. It's taken longer then I wanted but, it's still exciting me.
on the system that scream out to the Japan user base. Where's the PS3 RPG's? GT5, MGS4, FFXII and White Knight Chronicles will help boost sales in Japan for sure.
but the word "very" before that "soon" implies that the wait will be shorter rather than longer. Maybe it's supposed to come with the patch this month.
of what actual sales will look like, then I think it's safe to say GT5P sold some consoles in the Europe. lol
Don't you think? I didn't like any of the COD games until COD4 came out.
Did you read the same preview that I read? A more open world, amazing radical and innovative gameplay mechanics, awesome attention to detail and the ability to skip whatever scene you want sounds nothing like what you've described.
This game is going to rock so much. A more open world then previously experienced is amazing. The psyche and stress meters that affect how difficult it is to aim sounds amazing. The attention to detail such as the dust affect sounds amazing. The fact that the author says that he's only barely dented what's in the game is amazing. He even says that ingame mechanics are radical and innovative. He brings up incredible boss fights that he can't talk about either.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ....
can someone copy and paste the rest of the text for me and send it in a PM? I can't access IGN from work. I don't think I can wait till I get off. lol
On topic: those guys are lucky bastards.
I hear plenty of people on PSN that are easily as rude, crass or ignorant as people on LIVE. It's the internet, you can't escape this.
BTW ... i didn't disagree. I rarely ever do that.
I'm trying to get a mental picture of Jodie Foster rocking out. It's not really working for me.
One of the good part about not being hyped for a game is that if it does remotely well, you're pleasantly surprised.
