Exactly. I was hoping for wii u DeadSpace3 and Borderlands2. But i get Mass Effect3 and Arkham City? I beat those last year... Jeeze i had such high hopes. Colonial Marines looks cool but one good game aint gonna cut it.
They did this conference today so Ubisoft and EA can show off thier wii u titles during thier presentations since they are before Nintendos E3 conference.
Was kind of hoping Crisis 3 would be a wwi u title.
A reinvented Kinect Rock Band where your character onscreen follows your actions while you rock out. Style point combos. Online competitive play in this style would be super fun.
Well i agree completly, but it's the Activision way to run thier IPs into the ground rather than give ample time between to refresh and inovate.
I see the potential if a tablet was able to link up to a larger tv and controllers it would be viable portable. This is what the wiiu should be. Cost would be way more though.
Id rather stick with a straight 5 year cycle and a $300 tag. Enough time to develop significantly from gen to gen without breaking the bank each cycle.
If you realise that currently it cost MS less than $100 to make a 360 you also realize that a (more)current tech system with a cost of $250 would be huge leap foward with $50 profit to spread between MS and retailers.
There's no loss at start of gen and start over in 5 years.

It did need to be more difficult though.
This was a great single player game. It did have co-op, but it didnt feel forced in. Its only $40 now so itz a good buy. Sadly i dont think it sold well enough for a publisher to finish the story with a third game.
Im buying it because i like the genre but dont want to fill blizzards coffers, not because of price. That and my internet drops periodcly and the whole always on thing kind of sucks.

Youre exactly correct. Just like older games only had a few frames for animation of moves. I remember Street Fighter 2 players who had combos timed to specifif animation frames.

Once next gen comes with hardware capable of 3D people will change thier minds. I think this might be one of the main benefits of next gen.
I agree its probably the future, but is sucks nonetheless. I live in a squirrel ridden suburb where im constantlyb getting "squirrel chew" and have to have the cable co come fix it twice a year. But it takes about ten days to get fixed each time.
Doesnt help that i cant shoot the bastards and neighbors on bothsides have squirrel feeders.
Anyway back to the point. Requireing a constant conection sucks.

I just dont understand why Pikman 3 is your lead game. Im sure theyre saving the powerhouse IPs like Metroid and Zelda to combat the other console launches. But seriously they had the chance to wow everybody. Do you think anybody would be talking about half the competitors games if they came swinging with HD Metroid U?
