Hopefully you can take your characters from single player online and a little more story would be nice. Like an ending to the campaign.
Seems Ninty doesn't have their online structure where it needs to be. Oh well this is still the launch title I'm gonna buy.

With the ease of use UE4 looks like it could really streamline game development. Giving us much better games with less resources. Tools like these are whats gonna keep devolpment cost under control next gen. Hopefully we'll see less studios go belly up.
Great article. So many good points. Wish they had put in a hardcore mode with no compass and the requirements of sleep, food, and water consumption. I miss the spell maker. Level scaling enemies do suck much of the sense of progression out to.
I would love a good Dr who game. FFXIII2 is the closest thing ive found.

I believe you and have serched for decent android games on my phone that apeal to me as a long time core gamer and cant find a one. I see the potential, but seems like all crap.
I agree, but games are also becoming extremely complex themselves. Which makes playtesting more costly. Skyrim for example had tons of bugs but i can only ponder the amount of inhouse playtesting Bethesda would have to invest to work out these bugs. Compared to a side scroller of yesteryear...

Kinect gets such a bad rap. It really wants to be good but MS cheaped out on its construction. If the. 720 kinect really has two 3d sensors and an on board processor then games like this could be cool.
To bad most core gamers will have too bitter a taste left in thier mouth from first kinect to have open mind with next kinect.
