I think they will bring back the old crash's with resolution and trophy support along with a deal in place with Activision maybe create a new game funded partially by Sony as an exclusive, but also a deal to make a Crash animated feature film similar to Ratchet and Sly.
The game is no where near as bad as he makes it out to be. It's like this game killed his dog and he is out for vengeance.

You are right about story, it is barely there, so it's character growth etc. However, journalists leave lots of questions out on games, especially the bigger ones, that's always been the case. I think GTA might be the biggest culprit here (shooting mechanics, fighting mechanics, basic running, jumping and climbing...).

Although you say the shooting mechanics are bad, they are still miles better than those found in GTA games. However, I do agree that these big games like GTA, COD and Fallout do get easy passes unlike games such as JC, Sleeping Dogs and Saints Row.
I'm shit at every aspect of the game with the exception of fighter squadron where I'm mostly coming in the top 3. Also, the ability to shareplay co-op is pretty awesome.

JC need a Crash mode like the good Burnout games before EA destroyed them.
For me, the JC games are miles ahead of the likes of GTA. It is a shame JC never gets the attention and praise it deserves.
With the love between Activision and Sony being so strong this gen, I wouldn't be surprised if they have worked out a deal but are keeping it silent for a big reveal.
With the way things are going I would guess if they do it, it will be alongside a Crash movie with Sony and Activision partnering up to deliver a game, film and merchandise.
