I think he is wrong. The tech is at a place where VR is more affordable than it has ever been in the past, more companies are investing in it than ever before and more money (billions) are being pumped into creating a variety of applications for it.
Unlike before, almost all (if not all) major tech companies are some how invested in VR. Every gadget shop sells some form of VR. Many phone contracts offer free VR headsets.
Come next holiday, Nintendo migh...
I like Troy Baker but I have to disagree with Nolan North being humble. Ever since Amy Henning left and Naughty Dog picked Troy Baker as the lead, Nolan has come across bitter in some of his interviews.
@Segata
The kickstarter was only to get starter funds and to prove there is a demand for the game. In addition to the Kickstarter, Sega and Sony will pay for development, marketing and PR. I'm sure Sony will also provide in house tools and teams to help port etc.
From Bloodstained, Yooka Laylee and MN9, Shenmue 3 probably has the highest amount of funding, development support and resources.
Unfortunately Konami own the IP I think. I loved Snatcher and was hoping Kojima would make a spiritual successor to it instead of a horror game.
Xbox runs on Windows 10 partially anyway, so you'll have to get W10 one way or another lol
It's balling if most were sold at full price. What happened to ROtTR happened to Halo 5. It dropped in price real quick, as much as 50% off within the first month of release. 5 million is a great number, but previous Halos have done it quicker and at full price.
Completely forgot I've already paid for this. Can't wait to see more of this game!
I'm more worried about these 3 games burying Gears 4, similar to how Halo 5 didn't do a well as it could have. I suppose the same might even go for GT6.
Kind of funny games had a brilliant interview where they said a lot of publishers etc do this to secure booths for the year after. If they give away space, the next year they will be put to the back of the list for securing the same space.
I thought this was f2p.
That's the bit that's unclear with what they have shown us with where they are at currently I.e. The build might be a month old and since then they may be at 60%. Or they are currently at 50% in which case unless they hire shit tons of people I don't see it meeting the release date.
The lack of information to create a story that paints a certain story is incredible.
1) the build they showed was 50% through development
2) an improved damage model has been confirmed
3) the demo was put together last minute
In other words what we saw was not the final build, possibly a pre-alpha. From this, people have gone to town ignoring many things just to write click bait articles.
Might consider buying if it were £25-30 and they had done an amazing job remastering them.
They need to get Capcom to make it and make similar to Power Stone.
Without Bosman and crew this means very little if anything at all.
How do you report troll articles and report trolls on this new N4G set up?
I would take:
1) the browser. My mate can play all those old school classic games for free on his X1 browser.
2) Gears.
3) Halo
4) Rare
5) x1's virginity
Really easy, uses an app designed by the Vegas Studio guys and it can upload into several places such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Dailymotion.
It's a trap!
As much as people are crying for A crash game, I doubt there will be as many people who buy a new Crash. If ND go back to Crash, the only thing that will come from it is disappointed.
If Crash returns, I think it should come from a different studio. Sanzaru might do a good job.
Sony, Facebook, HTC etc don't need to bet all their money on VR to succeed, they just need to show they are investing enough to show they are serious about it.
Sony has sold out of all their pre-orders and have invested in the most amount of VR games from all the VR manufacturers. They have invested in a Star Wars, Batman, Resident Evil 7 and more experiences with over 50 guaranteed for launch.
MS is building their next console with one of the major...
