reminds me of a lot of articles I saw a year or two ago about another piece of electronics. Wonder how this one will turn out. If all these articles are right, it is dooooooomed, we shall see.
Fanboys make me sick.
my cable modem sits right next to my 360 and right next to my wireless router. How hard is it to have your modem close to your 360, if you have dsl you probably have a phone line at your tv anyways if you have satelite, if you have cable your cable modem can be run from right there. I thin the entire wifi argument is dumb. Its not that hard to have your modem close. Its a fanboy argument because the 360 didn't have it and the ps3 did.
and they are now just getting into the majority of peoples homes. 10+ years, what makes you think that all of these people who bought an hdtv in the last two years are willing to go out and spend another 1000-3000 dollars on a tv that isn't much better, just has 3d support. Its not like the 2d picture is any better on a new 1080p tv than it is on my year old 1080p led tv.
I play wii games with my family and we look like idiots, who cares. Are you trying to hook up with someone your playing with? Since most gamers are fat ugly nerds, I would imagine that they don't have many people they are trying to impress with how they look while playing a video game. This thing might flop, but not because of how you look while playing it. I am sure you look really cool swing your arms around playing a sword game with move?? All motion games make you look like a dor...
Hope the 1% of the gaming community enjoys it. Oh wait, everyone doesn't already have 3d tv's? With all the announcements I just figured everyone had one already. Next Gen thanks.
but I know I have read that Microsoft has said some games will be using both Kinect and controller.
I purchased a 55 inch led tv about 6 months ago. I don't see me, or any other person who bought an hdtv in the last two years, upgrading just for 3d. Before HDTV, people didn't go out and buy a new tv every two years, so why does everyone think that they will do that now?
People don't care how lame they look. Been to an arcade and watched the idiots play that dance dance game and do all the stupid moves? Do you think waving your arms around with the move won't look lame? Oh, your just a fanboy. Sorry I wasted my time on you.
but the problem is, back before HDTV, people didn't go out and buy a new tv every 2 years, so what makes you think that all of those people that bought an HDTV will now go out and buy a brand new one two years later? Since hdtv has really just started gaining big marketshare, I think it will be a long while until 3d tv's start to make a dent.
Since I wont have a Tv that does it, along with 90% of the gaming community, but move support is gonna be cool.
How about some new innovations for the game and less washed up players in the game.
it won't be because of Jordan. He is about 10 years late. Maybe he shouldn't, along with Barkley, kept themselves out of the early versions of live when they were playing because they felt they should have get more money than everyone else. If anything, I might not buy this game because it has Jordan. While I know he is the greatest ever, and I loved him when he played, I hated how we couldn't play as him when he was at his peek, so now, F him. I got tired of playing as numbe...
congrats to the 1% of people in America that have a 3d tv, as for me, I just purchased my 55 inch led 6 months ago, don't see me dropping another 2-3 grand for a few more years.
There was a run of nba games that didn't have jordan or barkley and a few others. They wanted more money than anyone else, and the players association split the proceeds evenly. I guess 30 million a year wasn't enough. He was the greatest player I ever saw, and Barkley was my favorite player back then, but I thought it was punk @ss to not allow your name in an nba game. Without the nba where would he or barkley be? They probably wouldn't have the money or fame to party in veg...
Jordan and Barkley were too big headed to be in some of the nba games when they were in their prime, so I don't care if an old guy that played 2 too many years in the nba is now in the game. Just give me a good game and I don't care who is on the cover, or what old guys are in the game.
Care to wager on whether or not people buy this thing? I am 37 and will be buying it, I have a wii, and love party games for it. I will also get move because it looks to add a lot to hardcore games. There is a place in gaming for this.
Not that madden is all that awesome, but to think that the first iteration of a game would out do a game that has been around forever was crazy. A hot new physics engine does not make a great game.
Or hardly any that run at 60fps in 720p. I am sure the hardware is strong, but why don't these incredible "first party studios" get some games that run 1080p at 60fps? Why even bother with a 1080p tv if this is the case.
look good and lose over looking bad and winning. I love how so many gaming geeks worry about how they look playing a game.
