I love how I hear so many people, not you mrcash, complain that sports games are just a rehash of the year before with new rosters. It is probably because it is difficult to start new and have a polished product in 1 year. Think how long it takes to make a great game. I hope they keep the control scheme and continue to polish next year. At least 2k doesn't make a guy shoot a left handed jump shot when they lean to the left like in last years one.

In Madden or an NBA game, I like the in game ads. It adds a bit of realism to the game. Like the instant replay sponsored by "insert name". A game like MW2 or GeOW2, I would not like ads in those games.

but this is a thread about sales, so why wouldn't they be talking about sales?

I had a 52inch lcd that got a black line through the right side, so crutchfield sent me a 55 inch led. I know that Toshiba is not one of the hot brands but this thing kicks my 52 inch samsnsung lcd that I had to the curb. LED is bomb. 1080p 240hz which I don't see a difference on, and a 3million to 1 contrast ratio. I absolutely love watching blu-ray movies on it.

I am on xbox 360 number two, got it replaced with my best buy warranty about a year and a half after launch, this one is fine, my ps3 is the 160 gb uncharted one I bought two years ago, so I am not worried about that, I am however also on my second laptop, had to send this one in because the motherboard was bad, so I guess you could say I have the same reliability rate as the 360 with my laptop. Like I said, I will give up the higher end graphics to just pop it in and play and not worry abou...

since I think it is like 50% of households in America finally have an hdtv, and the tech has been around for 10+ years, I would imagine that as of right now less than 1% have a 3dtv, so why waste money developing a 3d game that only a small amount of people can even see. Once the tech hits say 30% of households, then I could see investing money in developing a 3d game, until then I think it is probably not cost effective.

the PC. Thats one reason I don't play as many pc games anymore. Not as comfotable to play on my laptop and all of the problems with compatibility and all the bugs early on. I know the pc gaming crowd will hammer me for this, but sometimes I just want to pop in a disc and play right away, not worry about installing it and upgrading when a new game comes out.

but the last game they made, all pro football 2k, totally sucked. So I hope that if they ever return, they return back to the good old days and not the crap.

30k tv's is generous. The money number includes blu ray players and glasses, so its probably like 20k tv's. Oooooohhhh such a big bad number. I am sure 3d tv's will be in everyones house real soon. Get off of it. The majority of the young tools on this site don't have the money and their parents won't be buying them any 3d tv's anytime soon. So the less than 1% of the population that has 3d tv's good for them. For the rest its just more fanboy noise.

is surely making people eat crow. 30k tv's is tiny. The avg house has 2-3 tv's and there are 100 mil or so househoulds in America, so how is that some huge leap into a new tech. I am sure that 3d will have a nice size segment, but to think that Hdtv has been around for 10+ years and we are now just starting to see the 50% number being thrown around, I think we are a long long ways off from this being the norm. By the time it hits a decent percentage I am sure 3d without glassess w...
