Actually they said its apart of the Xbox family. The tablets, phones, and pc's are all part of that family now. But hey who knows. Would be grate if they made it upgradable like a pc
Just because it plays Xbox one games doesn't mean its an x1. Ps2 and ps3 played it's predecessors' games. It's not a next gen console,but it's also not just a mid gen upgrade either.
Hell they could just simply call it Xbox...

Considering that I own both versions of the games and I can say for sure that it's an upgrade over the original council release, I can say people really need to stop comparing councils with pc. No matter how powerful councils get pc will always look better. I'm happy with the upgrade and love my council.

Don't get me wrong I can explain.
As a time warner technician I found that Sony tvs have a widespread hand shack issue with the cable boxes. Sonys response was It's the cable box, even though it works with every other brand.
Sony blue ray players black out movies if the motion picture co doesn't update Sony with their codec even though the movie will play fine without an update on any other Blu-ray player.

If you knew as much as you claim to then you would realize that Sony and the owners of their servers at that time both knew that their security was 5 years out of date.

Xbox live is a more reliable service with me owned servers running it... So ill take better service with fewer free games, than more games and a service that is only oppeeational 80% of the time

If you ever have a chance to check out the x1s upscaling a game in person vs a tv doing the work, you'll notice a rather large bump in quality. Yes pro has mor power, but to praise the upscaling technic 🤔 should be praising It's it's benefits towards gaming, not it bs upscaling technic that ain't all to impressive in my eyes
Checkerboard isn't new and upscaling is upscaling no matter how you spin it.
On that note more power does equal better graphics, and hopefully longer and better game experiences.

Seriously man what do you know? Only games the ps pro runs at 4k natively are 5-10 year old games...
Oh and indies. Personally a portable as powerful as the ps4 and x1, you'd have to be slower than a doped up 5th grader
I see a bunch of last gen/remastered games and indies.... So id hope that those would be 4k at least. He'll even my x1 does old ass games at 1080p!!!

Well the x1s does upscale all games to 4k and 90% of the time the image is sharper. Also if you own a 4k tv than you would also know that the upscaler on the s is way better than your TV's. However I'm better that most people commenting on this article don't have an s and more than likely they don't even have a 4k tv.
