The guy on the PC gaming segment of E3 all but confirmed it. He basically said he can't talk about it right now.
Also, Phil Spencer may have slipped and let the cat out of the bag on Giant Bomb's Day 1 stream when he said the "Gears of war Collection" was coming to PC.
He tried to quickly back track and say the remastered edition but it makes me think that they are remastering all of them for Xbone and PC.
Now all I need is...
DS2 came out last year so if DS3 comes out next year, I think that a 2 year life cycle for souls games is perfectly fine. It's not too soon if you don't have a PS4/bloodborne
Did you not play the DLC? It was superb. Still not the cohesive masterpiece that DS1 is but that game simply set the bar so high, it was destined to be nigh impossible to match.
If you haven't played scholar of the first sin, give it a shot. It's excellent IMO.
You can download the public alpha of the new unreal tournament right now. It's amazing looking, plays/feels really great and totally free forever.
The super twitchy controls and horrendous physics when jumping or climbing have caused me to put it down for now.
I've literally never felt a 3rd person game that controls this bad. DA:I wasn't much better but W3 is just plain awful. W2 was great which is what I don't understand.

Don't worry. console parity is keeping the required PC specs pretty low. Only GTA V, Witcher 3 and Arkham seem to be exceptions to this as they all have fairly high hardware requirements.

It's the overly colorful look of the retail build that annoys me. I'm sure I can use something like sweet fx or whatever to tone down the color saturation but overall, some stuff looks better and some stuff looks a bit worse.
Time of day differences in the comparison pictures make it a little harder for some to accurately compare.
4 crashes in a row at the exact same spot on my PC. Right after the cut scene where you're supposed to fight some goblins or something (very first enemy encounter) crashes to desktop.
Seems that a lot of people with 970/980 GPU's are having this problem.
I'll give a couple of weeks for a patch and community visual tweaks. I've got GTA V anyways and it's spectacular.
CDPR have already claimed last year that they have tapped out the PS4's potential with witcher 3.
yeah vehicles and characters look kinda last-gen~ish to me but the sand/smoke/clouds environment all look top notch IMO.
Good. Less things for them to get wrong and more focus on the one thing they need to get RIGHT which is that well crafted single player game.
The ID Tech 6 engine had no support for SLI and no way to brute force it through drivers. That is absolutely inexcusable.
that's what happens when you build a game engine from the ground up for the xbox 360 (which carmack later admitted was a big mistake)

Keep in mind that the PC version of GTA IV looked just like the console version of the game too... and then there were mods.
The similarities you see on that website will not last long.
A poverty graphics card runs the game at the same settings as a PS4 only at 60fps.

Potential for higher resolution, higher frame rate and higher levels of details vs the new PS4/Xbone versions.
Also, this is very early. There's nothing saying that this won't eventually get modded. I'm sure someone will figure it out, someone always figures it out.
After seeing how spectacular the modding community made Skyrim, I'm going to be waiting for a while to grab the PC version of this game.
