I have a 500GB HDD for my PS3, unfortunately I still run around with a 20GB Xbox 360s.

I agree it would make more sense to lock regions by language instead of territory and games being released in the EU will be faster because you have more dedicated teams.
New Zealand, UK, AU, and the United States should be on the same released date that way all the cost is part of the United States side of the budget.
Just import everything including an American or Japanese PS3 where pretty much everything is unlocked. I have a 500GB American PS3 and I still have access to the content in Japan, Hong Kong, UK, and of course the United States. A perfect example is that I'm playing Crystal Defenders (from Square Enix) on my PS3 in the States and already have FFVII:AC on pre-order with the demo included.

Final Fantasy Union has been out there longer than most and they are the ones releasing info about Square Enix more times than any other website out there. Plus if it has anything to do with Square Enix they are the ones to find out first mostly and are far more accurate than of the other sites out there including Gamespot, IGN, and Kotaku.
Now to prevent it looking like I went all out onto the PS3 side, the Xbox 360 still has the time exclusivity of the The Last Remnant, Star Ocean IV, and Mass Effect 2. From what I'm seeing is that like Red Alert 3, the PS3 version will be different from the Xbox 360 version is that it comes with both Mass Effect 1 and 2 with Mass Effect being 6.7 GB each they can easily fit on to one BD.
Alan Wake is out there somewhere, the last tech demo I saw running even though it was the PC...
Lost Planet 2 is being made by Capcom and was already announced to be mulit-platform even though that announcement is in Japanese I don't see why websites over here can ignore it.

The producer for Final Fantasy XIII is one of the PS3's biggest fanboys standing next to Kojima-san. Plus it also noted that he will not reduce textures and polygon count on character models as was done to Final Fantasy XIII to get to run on the Xbox 360.

I've seen always seen price happen at the end of the fiscal year and E3 just look at all their conferences in the past. The only ones I haven't seen myself was during the PS1 days...
I actually enjoyed reading that article, but Square Enix made more than 8 games in the past 3 years over the Wii, DS, PSP, Xbox 360, and PC so there are other companies that are just as ambitious as they are. The others are Ubisoft, Blizzard Activ, and EA; just like Rare not all games are of high quality.

If Resident Evil 5 can not even outsell the PS3 version than someone at Microsoft must have been drinking the Kool-Aid when they (Big M) said they will sell more Final Fantasy XIII on the Xbox 360 than the PS3.
I have to agree about the Star Ocean IV sales, currently the Star Oceans being released on the PSP are outselling Star Ocean IV! Well the love affair between Microsoft and Square Enix is interesting because there hasn't been any big money being made.
For a game that is coming out in 2010 due to the creation of an Xbox 360 version that is a very long time from now. Plus it is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan anyway, so many things can happen between now and E3 let alone from now to next year.
The big surprise should be that the PS3 is still selling at the rate it is due to its price. I'm one of the people that bought launch day consoles of all the systems and the PS3 had the hardest of birthing process out of the three.
Currently my playing order is PC-->PS3-->X360-->Wii (Actually I don't even have the Wii plugged into the wall.
Atleast it is better than the new iPod Shuffle, that has got to be one of the ugliest gadgets I've seen in awhile!
I just bought a 500GB HDD for only $113, very easy install to boot! Now the 120GB for my Xbox 360 cost $149, not only can I not use the drive the way I want to but your asking for my arm too.
Note to all: Never pay more than $30 for HDMI cables, this is the same for the Xbox 360 and PS3 unless your are trying to go more than 10" (feet). Anything less you can pay $12 and still receive just as good of a signal.
It is going to be great to see someone with an outside perspective away from Japan, along with recognizing that Star Ocean IV didn't sell enough to cover cost.
