Some where on this page it should say this is an editorial piece since there is so much opinion used to describe some information on the GPU wins of the coming consoles.
This game is one of my favorites and yes there are updates and fixes still being made to make it right. I'm hoping that many for fixes can be made and that they figure something out that can be used in an expansion pact. "Napoleonic Wars" anyone, this would be a great to figure an advanced tactics system and AI system to cover the various tactics used for that time period.
EA probably saw how bad the sells were for games like The Conduit, MadWorld, and Dead Rising for the Wii and said yup we are not going to be making any money off the Wii version.
Amazon has become my best friend while overseas, since Gamestop doesn't send shipments to gamers in warzones than Amazon is first choice be default.
I'm 24, why hit on the age group that spends on videogames the most? Also playing Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare didn't send me to Iraq, President Obama's orders did so the notion of GTA causing people to steal cars is a joke too.
No can argue that the competition is really about how our wallets are going to be hammered over the next 12 months.
Wow, I'm stuck in a warzone called Iraq and this is worst than some of the setups over here.
EA made more money selling games on the PS3 than the Xbox 360 counterpart, one of the reasons why Ubisoft, Capcom, and Koonami think that abandoning the PS3 is a big joke.
The PS3 version should come as a trilogy on the same disc and hands down that thing will sell!
Like Microsoft is going to give Sony a heads up on this one, already the United States version was pushed back to be released at the same time as the Xbox 360 version. Original announcement in 2005-2007 was this game had a goal of world-wide same time release to show that Square Enix can keep up with Western developers.
I say Mass Effect, it is one of those games that I would pay $100 to get ME1 & 2 on the same BD and still be happy to sit it next to my Xbox 360 and PC versions.
Has this company learned its lesson too that JRPGs sell more on PS3s and PSPs than on Wiis or Xbox 360s? It is interesting that the project hasn't been labeled as an Xbox 360 exclusive especially when Microsoft usually mentions it first before the developer.
I like the question... if Nintendo didn't stab Sony in the back and how would gaming today look if Sony worked for big N? Would the Wii even come out?
You can add me to he list that would pay $100 to get both Mass Effect 1 and 2 on the same disc. I actually liked Mass Effect better on the PC than on my Xbox 360, probably because most of the problems were ironed out by the time the PC came out.
Sure why not, the PS3 is only in its third year on the market and the polygon count of a Gran Turismo 5 car is 250,000 to 300,000 polygons depending on the make. If they can code it right than I wish I can put the cell processor in my PC instead of running 3 Corei7 on a server rack. The CELL is cheaper and much more powerful than a Corei7 and boy is this wishful thinking...
The Crysis 3 Engine, Euphoria, Killzone 2 Engine, wow is gaming gone so far!
Quick make some popcorn!
There is comment made about the CELL emulating PC games at the bottom of the page. The truth is that you can play PC games on the PS3 already and some of the emulation required is making an SPU process RAM in real-time instead of using it as a memory bank.
I'm able to play NES, SNES, Sega, basically legacy games already on the system. At the sametime games like Command and Conquer and Starcraft runs perfectly on it...
It was a bad decision on their part after releasing Resident Evil 4 and saying that it will only stay on a Nintendo console. RE4 actually outsold the gamecube version when it was ported to the PS2 even though it was released 1 1/2 years later.
Even though the PS3 version of Resident Evil 5 outsold the Xbox 360 when looking at worldwide figures, the sale through of both versions combined is nothing to ignore. In most cases it is all about backing the right console...
Atleast it isn't causing the Xbox 360 to RRoD.
I love the feeling of knowing that my physical media will not be destroyed at the same time as if a hard drive dies. I do have to say though that as much as possible I try to get get both a digital version and a physical version.
