@Lord
Well maybe that's the problem, they should developing their own games that can compete to the level of Sony and Nintendo. Can Microsoft make a game as good as Gears of War on their own, nothing is holding them back but the lack of first party support. Sony is developing God of War III, GT 5, Killzone II, and Little Big Planet on their own, Microsoft should be able to do the same.
Has Microsoft even made the money back on the GTA IV DLC content yet? It isn't a...
I could name two right off the back, Gears of War 2 and Halo 3. I even lost connection to my neighbor while playing Halo 3 and he lives across the street. There are no such thing as perfect launches, even World of Warcraft that probably have a server farm size that is only beaten by NASA and NSA have trouble after each expansion launch and major patch.
I thought I would see these kind of articles last night, I guess they were to busy playing the game too.
Kotaku said that this 2009 is PSP year too? They must know something about the software coming out and this thing called PSP-4000 ^_^
@Product
That is why I have both a UK, HK, Japan, and American account for my PS3 since each region gets there products at different times.
@Chris
Since you're an RPG nut like me check out the Japanese PSN, they have more than 4 dozen titles on the store alone. They even have PSP exclusive ones too which make that system have more games. If you look at my past comments you'll read that I've played Star Ocean IV already even though it's coming to the P...
We crashed the poor site ^_^
21k, nice, actually I thought it was going to be more!
Yeah that's just like Snake not being voiced by David Hayter.
Nice we crashed the website!
Increased profit margin? Tomb Raider didn't even sell enough to keep the company financially afloat.
The only games that have DLC done right is World of Warcraft and Burnout Paradise.
Just wow! Does anyone know what the training video on the ESRB or PEGI looks like?
Yup, I agree, another bull$h!t lawsuit. They wait till every single multi-media device uses this form of connectivity.
Actually Wall Wireless, LLC doesn't even have a website how can they be a legitimate company when they aren't even registered with the Better Business Bureau, Small Business Administration, and United States Patent and Trademark Office. Meaning that Wall Wireless, LLC is not even a registered company itself...
They should've asked for a bailout since they are throwing out more titles each year but selling less of each. Just ask from Microsoft more money since Sony has 21 first party companies to pay for and wouldn't throw themselves on the floor at the expense of their own companies.
You can look at my past comments I do own shares in Square Enix and an angry investor, but not as angry as the people that bought General Motors and Citigroup shares.
SSD is still too expensive, it would be nice to use that for storing and it makes the battery last longer by not using as much energy.
@Horny Melon
There was a white PSP, they were released as a Special Edition FFVII and in the states it was released as a Special Edition Darth Vader.
I would agree, think of Homeworld with the point defense systems mod and turn that into an MMO, now that would be nice. EVE Online needs some competition and bringing more games into the fold would make gamers like me happier. Now we just have to wait for Jumpgate Evolution, Star Trek Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic to come out.
Come on, I can complain because I just finished playing Star Ocean IV: The Last Hope and close to the ending especially on the third disk you will be changing DVDs constantly. I usually collect a great deal of content just to open up as many skills in the Star Ocean games. I ended up changing disc every twenty minutes, even with that being said I'm the one always having the RPGs dumped on and this is highly inefficient.
For those of us that played Xenogears, Final Fantasy VII, Fi...
There may be more game units sold on the Xbox 360 currently, but it doesn't change the fact that the PS3 has a higher profit margin. For example companies like Take Two, Ubisoft, EA, and Koonami made more money on the PS3 versions than the Xbox 360 versions even though most of the multi-platform titles performed "better" on the X360.
Square Enix for example has made a statement to their shareholders that Microsoft has to pay them big money to make games exclusive becau...
I agree, waiting till 2011 for Final Fantasy XIII that's bull. That means the game would be in development for seven years since work began on FFXIII in 2005. Here in Asia we are kind of pissed at stupid delays caused on Dragon Quest, even though it isn't using any higher tech than the PS2 Dragon Quest VIII.
Don't worry about the disagrees, the guide is labeled correctly because according to Square Enix shareholder reports Star Ocean IV is not considered exclusive.
