-Killzone 2 vs. CoD4 Graphics
-Killzone 2 DLC pricing vs. Halo Wars DLC pricing
-Steam vs. XBL vs. PSN
-Free XBL vs. Paid XBL
The last 2 are especially WTF-moments.
Looks like you spooked some PS3 fanboys with your comment.
I don't like the modern look. I preferred the old-style classic pin-ups circa 1930s. It's more authentic and goes better with the settings.
The people here don't love this game: they just want to take away an "exclusive" from 360: that does this game injustice. I don't know anyone here that wants this game on PS3 that truly love this game for what it is.
It's an Alt-account? I figured that for someone that recently joined N4G, that he seemed a little too "Stereotypical" of the N4G nature. Thanks for the info. +bubbles.
I never had a problem with that "Why dis" account either, but that's because I always avoid articles that always has a 360 vs PS3 mentality in the GamerZone.
1. Game Disc tests invalidate SSDs.
-The data rate from BR-Drive to SSD is too small to really take advantage of the massive read/write speeds of SSD. You'd think the Install-happy MGS4 would see benefits, but no. The BR Drive isn't feeding enough data to the SSD to truly see the benefits of SSD. That's why MGS4 didn't see such a improvement because the main assets are still being loaded from the disc, and the disc drive is slow compared to the SSD.
If BR Drives are transfe...
No vendetta. I thought you were overreacting like the usual N4G'er that lacks basic high school reading skills. You're familiar with the trend of "commenting before reading" right? Especially when it comes to console war articles, some "misinformed" people gotta bring up stuff that's irrelevant to the article and create a big scene.
I've got nothing against you, but I'm shocked you can make such an accusation out of 4-5 words alone.
Transferring 25GB in over 70 seconds is pretty godly for USB. About 20ish seconds shy of Ethernet transfer at 1Gbps, but drastically overcutting USB 2.0 by mounts.
The big question is whether this controller can maintain those speeds. Remember "burst" vs. "constant" data rates? The ol' USB vs. Firewire debate? I smell it coming back.
If you think console fanboyism is bad, stay away from football.
geez, chill out.
take a rage dump dude.
The guy "Craig Thorner" owns some patents related to rumble tech. He wasn't involved with Sony until 2007 when he was trying to help Sony fight against Immersions' lawsuit. It's now in 2009 that the same Thorner is suing both Sony and PDP because he thinks both companies are conspiring to steal his patents.
It's more about legal malpractice with the patent case on the side.
Anyways. the guys suing the PDP(?) and Sony to protect his own interests sounds valid to me. Especially if Sony or that PDP company is trying to shortchange the man and steal his technology. I'd do the same too.
If I created something and put time and effort in it, I deserve whatever I'm entitled to as a result of my work. I'm a fair man too so I'll license my stuff to help whoever party I'm interested in. However when the same parties (Sony & PDP) tries to backstab me, despi...
Who hasn't betrayed Jesus yet?
Someone didn't read the article.
I wouldn't say that this gen was dominated by ATI/AMD as much as both AMD and Nvidia competing at each other's necks for our dollars. Anyone here remembered the day that the 280 GTX got a big price cut cause of AMD/ATI? That was a great day for us gamers.
Bladestorm was broken? Sir, you just suck.
What fans? You don't represent me or the entire collective Halo fans. I enjoyed Arbiter and the whole covenant twist, but and was disappointed with his role in Halo 3 being less than Halo 2's role. Clearly you speak yourself.
There's so many more potential ideas in the Halo universe. I can imagine the Cryo-tub'ed Spirit of Fire from Halo Wars meeting up with Master Chief and Cortana in that unknown planet of Halo 4 and that would be totally epic.
Halo 3 felt underwhelming, but Halo Wars rekindled my love and if Halo ODST keeps that flame going then Halo 4 will definitely be warranted.
The more that Sony cuts ties with suppliers. The more jobs that is potentially lost as a result since some companies rely solely on their trade business.
I'd rather Sony not do this because that means people in China, US, Malaysia are all lined up to get laid off as a result. *sigh* I really do hope Sony doesn't plan to make this a long-term business plan when the economy picks up again.
