Well if you don't want to recognize that $20 for all that is a great deal. Whatever. Enjoy your Youtube.
I disagree. Killzone and FEAR are pretty even. Whatever, they're both epic.
Isn't "fallacy" an error in making a claim?
I say who gives a ****? Are sales really that important to you? Last time I checked, we're gamers: not analysts or stockholders or businessmen.
Hm, I think I see your point now.
BRD's time will come soon enough, but for now: DVD's are fine. -Is that right?
P.S. - I'm not the one giving you disagrees. What jerk would do that?!
You're kidding right? Many developers cut content out of the DVD-9 because they want to try and stay within DVD-9's size limit. It's been well-documented after Lost Odyssey and RAGE that Microsoft charges an large amount for premiums when a 3rd disc is licensed. So large to the point that developers cut out content just to avoid that money-shark. Notice how I didn't say "royalties" because Microsoft doesn't charge by the disc.
Also, when you're developer on a multiplatf...
What the ****?
Uh oh Laden, brace yourselves. N4PS3G doesn't take too kindly to any backtalk about anything Sony-related.
I do agree that most things that Blu-Ray is valued for:space and durability -DVD technology has come pretty far to the point that makes those features obsolete.
However what's wrong with moving forward? There's a decent sized amount of games that already make use of BR's additional space.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma - 11.34GB
Enchanted Arms - 15.02GB
Blazing Angels 2 Secret Missions of WWII - 12.82GB
Lair - 22.9GB
Resistance: Fall of Man - 15.4...
Any activity that undermines someone else's work for self-gain is wrong and should be punished accordingly.
Screw you all and your comparisons. I respect everyone's opinion here and that's how it should be. I'm no longer in the mood for a pissing contest. Both games look great, end of story.
Sleep/Hibernation is mostly dependent on your hardware. Either S1/ or S3/S4 is entirely reliant on your Motherboard's ability. Sometimes a simple Win7 Driver from the hardware manufacturer usually fixes this right up.
So before you guys go off and start pointing fingers, just remember 2 things.
1. Hardware plays a major factor in whether you can go S3. If you can't go S3. Oh hoh ho...you'll know! Make sure if your motherboard does indeed support S3, that you enable i...
Smaller PCB please! I refuse to buy a Geforce 200 series card because they're so god-damn ****ing long! Go for it Nvidia! But keep the price-tag low eh? Price is power.
It's a shame there wasn't much info as to why Garriot left and his stake in the game afterwards, and it is strange how TR could simply fail. But I suppose, like the blogger Scott: that TR was just released in a time it wasn't needed and it took too long to get out. I guess if TR got released a couple years ago it would've probably lifted off where it had more of a chance.
On the plus side, NCSoft did try to reach for the stars by trying to incorporate US and Korea players. That's...
If you open up My Computer and type a URL into the address box. You'll automatically shift over to IE. The US Courts were basically telling Microsoft to rip out the heart of Windows and sell it like that. When from a technical perspective: that's a ****ing nightmare and impossible. Windows Explorer after all is the GUI we use to navigate our desktop, open up windows and whatnot.
It's unfair for Microsoft and this is why it took 4 years to reach a settlement. Microsoft didn't have...

In a nutshell, Internet Explorer is tied deeply to Windows Explorer and the very foundation of how Windows operates. By taking out Windows Explorer, you essentially cripple the OS itself. It's like disemboweling someone. Which is incredibly unfair for Microsoft.
Anyways, in 2001: the US failed to revoke Internet Explorer, but Microsoft got a huge slap...
If Chinese people are playing games all the time, they can't work and keep our world economy afloat. After all China's one of the biggest nations for foreign exports. Since they get paid ****, I can expect video games being a very good cost-effective stress-reliever.
But then, where else am I going to buy my airsoft guns? pens? pencils? clothes? headphones? video cards? MP3 Players? iPods? Keyboards? Cell Phones? Nike shoes? Basketballs? (you get the point) You need workers to ma...
Dude no......I won't even entertain your comment. It's too touchy of a subject to discuss on a VG-site.
I just rewatched the video, and the one before it (on N4G). I can't comment much because I haven't heard that guy enough to make a judgment. You seem to know more than I do, so I'll trust your judgment on this one. I take back my first comment.
Me thinks he's confusing soldiers with ports and IP settings perhaps.
+bubbles for not blowing up in my face with XBOT comments and such. That's a rarity these days.
It'll be interesting what Sony will do. I can foresee bad things if Killzone 2 couldn't outsell Gears 2. But that's just me and my crystal ball.
Can we agree that Killzone 2 is PS3's Flagship title?
While Gears of War 2 is 360's Flagship title?
This'll be interesting. Meanwhile I'm waiting for my 360 to come in from UPS. PM for more details.
