I thought about online for PS3, but when I was trying to play the demo with a friend over the PS3: we kept getting "the host ended the game" messages even though we didn't. Swapped over to 360 and had no problems. I guess I pay for convenience, even though I do agree that Live should be free. How weird.

The surface detail and more AA, but lacking in Vsync isn't what won me over. It's the fact that I can make load times faster with NXE, and I'm trying to conserve space on my 60GB PS3 cause I got Linux installed and have been putting some Kirby games on there recently.
FYI, yes I know I can upgrade my 60GB HDD, but I refuse to because I refuse to pay for developer's woes. If GG/ND can do it, anyone can do it. Nuff' said.
Games like Bioshock and Far Cry 2 aren't expected to have co-op because of their single-player nature of "being alone". However when you have games like Killzone 2 which emulates the co-op experience, yet has no option for it: that's just downright criminal.
Even so, despite Bioshock and Far Cry 2 being exempt from the "expected co-op list". We still petition for co-op in games like Bioshock and Far Cry 2 because there's nothing to lose and everything to gain....
What the article misses is that online-based games don't tend to last long because of player popularity and server management. What happens when people like EA decide to turn off the servers? You basically have half of a game. This is precisely why I will not buy KZ2 unless I can pay $30-$40 for it because I'm not an online player.
Now with games with split-screen co-op specifically, you're not limited by online support and therefore you can justify your purchase alot better. Gam...
You 2 guys underestimate other games and overestimate this game. Give IW a fair chance to battle against GG. Competition is a good thing for us gamers after all and IW has a proven track record to boot.

As much as I want to give him the benefit of the doubt of being a CGI artist, which automatically invalidates most of our opinions here, he points out alot of obvious things like "faking effects". But then again, he puts up a good point regarding the imbalance in detail. What's the power of the PS3 if you have to fake lighting effects and overdose on your weapon detail? Im' not surprised. I've been with RPGgamer since 98' and I've always trusted them for their RPG reviews and knew they would share a similar opinion to mines. Unlike big-name sites like IGN, etc.: RPGamer knows how to look at a game from an RPG gamer's perspective. And that is why I respect their opinion a bunch more. But to each their own. Why do great with a robust battle system if your story, voice-acting, presentation, and uninspiring cut-scenes are lacking by comparison? It's like Tri-Ace...

Agreed, people who don't care for gaming will want the most budget-conscious graphics setup and IGPs just happen to be right up that alley. The article makes a point about the declining price on GFX Cards, however I feel the article contradicted itself when it brought up S3 and VIA. Intel and Nvidia would rather commit Seppuku than let IGPs die out without a fight.
