That's funny. I've read that 7 list, but I feel that Halo 3 doesn't seem to reflect that list very accurately when it comes to the integrity of Bungie. Everytime I think of Halo 3, I think of pop-tart gun and Halo 2 HD. Not that it's a bad thing, but I definitely expected more of Bungie. Maybe I expected too much from a developer that single-handed set graphical benchmarks with Halo 2 and defined what a multiplayer-based game needs and doesn't need.

No matter what, Blizzard and Valve definitely deserve a spot in the Top 5 developers in the world. I have no idea about the other 3.
-CryEngine 3 doesn't look as near impressive as CryEngine 2. CE3 looks like a watered down version of CE2. However the point is that consoles can run CE2 somewhat which is an achievement by it's own right when it would take at least 1-2GBs of RAM and a beefy graphics card to decently run CE2 on PCs. With such a small gap in image quality and a big difference in hardware requirements: things are looking up this gen for PS3 and 360. Good to know that this-gen still has plenty of life in it yet....
What company doesn't make games for profit? Bungie has been a bit behind this gen. Gameplay wise, Bungie is always top notch, but I grew up with Halo and each Halo always set technical bounds ,except Halo 3. Hoping ODST will prove me wrong, but unlikely. Well hm....can't have em all.

Senshi, I couldn't disagree with you anymore. LO is the game that brings RPG gamers back to the roots of RPG gaming before it got all modernized. LO is in fact my #1 RPG game so far this gen because of how it returns to the days when we still remembered our first Boss in FF7. After FFX, it's gotten stale to me. You may deny Sakaguchi, but can you say that Uematsu's work on LO is any less epic.

Considering how satisfied I was with the amount of content in Gears 2, I'd buy this SP DLC in a heartbeat.
PS3 and 360 owners unite to put down a pathetic article written by the natural Slapstic. It's brings a virtual tear to this PS360 owner when both sides can recognize a good game when they see it, regardless of platform.

I just tried out the mod and it's pretty fun! Some graphical bugs, but nothing noticeable. (all weapons are silver =D)

Too-little, too late. I already sold my copy of R2. But hurray for those that decided to keep theirs. I prefer to have a complete experience out of the box, no matter how wishful that is this gen.

OnLive is going to be total fail. People may want to get in on the latest pc gaming without having to foot the bill, but what cost? You don't own anything and everything about your content and information is at the hands of the corporations? It's essentially Cloud Computing. A poor man's device. A knock off.

I think that claiming Microsoft is purposely shifting the error codes to avoid the 3 year warranty is a bit of a stretch. The article didn't have any hard-pressing evidence to support that.
