Translation: Tesco is very out of the gaming loop.
When Amazon and GameStop have listings, I'll pay attention.
Are you kidding me? Why is this story so popular?
True, but we've got to keep the balance in check.
Did you see the post-E3 complaints? PlayStation fans were livid!
Uncharted 4 hitting PlayStation 4 is inevitable, but there's really no information to be had here. It's just some gamer, who happens to be a celebrity, expressing his interest in the potential UC4.
There's a link to an article about that (by the same guy) in this article.
I know I'm not the only who thought of that old Yu-Gi-Oh! card "Yata Garasu."
Yes, but barely.
1) Demon's Souls 2
2) Vanquish 2
3) Psychonauts 2 (obligatory, honestly)
4) Portal 3
5) Borderlands 3 (which will happen eventually, but still)
"are not MMO. They are online coop games with huge open worlds."
We don't even have a microscope powerful enough to properly examine how small a hair your splitting.
Yes, because ruining console gaming would be so profitable for Microsoft. Don't get me wrong; their next-gen philosophies are ridiculous and self-serving, but they aren't designed to "ruin console gaming with DRM." They're designed to have MS profit. And Sony didn't really "save" anything; they provided a better (in my opinion) alternative by continuing to do what they have been for years.
Well, that's 90 more than me.
You sound like a huge fan.
So, a little Alpha/Beta footage pops up and suddenly Watch_Dogs, one of the most anticipated open-world titles of the generation, is crap? It's clearly not representative of the final product.
Good article, and good information, but it really boils down to:
Nintendo wants to sell more Wii Us because they need to sell more Wii Us. No amount of financial statements will change that simple fact.
The gap between PS2/Xbox and PS3/360 is much larger than the one seen between PS3/360 and PS4/XOne. Because the differences between the two are less drastic, players are more likely to weigh their options more heavily when deciding on a platform.
Translation: Without the repeated success of tangent iterations, a new core release wouldn't be possible.
What a shocking development! My god, I bet we wouldn't have Final Fantasy XV without the other 26 games, too!
Come on Insomniac, you're 0-2 on Ratchet & Clank releases now. Take us back to the glory days of Tools of Destruction.
It's cool, Kojima; it doesn't need to.
They are indeed charging because they can, if only because their prime competitor does it, and has been doing it for over a decade. But it's not like consumers are getting nothing out of the deal.
On the topic of Sony being an enormous company: Sony's gaming divisions are basically separate from other sectors, so it makes more sense to focus on the problem of PSN internally than throw some money from, say, their TV manufacturing corner into the mix.
