This again? Really? You do realize that Microsoft MUST comply with the NSA? It's the law. And guess who else has to comply. Sony, Nintendo, Apple, N4G if they ask for information, Facebook, Myspace, your ISP, your telephone company, Amazon, the list is endless. Stop painting Microsoft as the neon anti-Christ when they have no choice in the matter, the law requires they cooperate, just like Sony, and Nintendo will also have to do.
Alpha Protocol had 2 budget increases, and 3 time extensions. What was delivered was absolute nonsense. Fallout: New Vegas was great but it was no mistake that it was a buggy broken turd, and most of the game was practically already done (Fallout 3 on a different map) All they had to do was voice acting, character models, landscape, quest design, and tweak the AI slightly. The game was pretty much done, it just needed a new map.
Makes sense, after all the controller was practically designed around them, it's perfect for shooters.
The last two games weren't the greatest, but it's no secret the the first 6 games were the some of the best platformer games made. They had longevity, that had great characters, they were quirky, the weapons were fantastic, the replay value was through the roof compared to most titles these days. How could you call this phenomenal series "Ratchet & Skank". Say good bye to those bubbles, I would have been fine with valid points but that was complete verbal diarrhea.
Didn't see that coming. But hey, who's complaining? Good on you Microsoft, I like this new attitude of yours.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you a fanboy. Behold as this seemily ill informed child trys to downplay something selling well! Be in awe as he realizes that all digital content on the PS3, and 360 have DRM. Come one, come all, tickets are free, and we have seats for everyone.
Then Sony is doing the same thing, but I bet you could just use your psychic abilities to figure that out for us, right? Selling out is good, saying something selling out without the numbers is better than another is stupid. But that doesn't change the very obvious fact that selling out, regardless of numbers, is good.
Not even taking into consideration that the PS3 sold like bottled farts at launch, especially compared to the PS2? Come on man, the 360 sold fine, and still is today. Selling out on pre-orders is always a good sign. Only an idiot could down play something selling out.
You'd be a moron to think a company as large as Microsoft would even gamble at a risk like that again. Giving everyone free replacements was simply too big of a loss, they'll never make that mistake again. They might have deep pockets but they're not going to burn cash for no reason.
I'd prefer a great looking shield that would match the ambiance, not a practical joke you'll see forever, and laugh at once.
What hasn't been tainted at this point? Even development budgets have be bloated ten fold for zero reason. Honestly losing hope in a lot of the games industry, it needs to crash again. That way all of the developers that put passion in their games will be able to thrive, while the EA's and Activision style companies go bankrupt.
The whole sport integration into gaming is just awkward, it just doesn't fit. Watching great MLG games of Halo 3 back in the day was great. Now you can't watch anything without it being "cod casted" and it's painful to listen to. They make it sound as if every detail needs to be announced and we just don't need that. Competitive gaming has lost it's soul, it was much better 4 years ago, now money has a death grip on it, and lets anything with an audience in. Even...
Why are you getting disagrees? It IS inevitable folks, he's not saying it's happening tomorrow, it's just going to happen eventually. It's the next step, and it's going to start with single games this generation, and the next generation we'll likely see it in consoles, without the back peddling.
If all you're doing is playing games, and downloading DLC it should be fine for a while at least.
This kind of creativity and unique style is what made Insomniac great, I don't know what you're smoking but it's something potent.
The only thing I think I'd enjoy at all would be something similar to the gunsmith in Ghost Recon. Other than that it has no practical use. During multiplayer it would be useless, I already have a 5 man squad so it would just get aggravating, campaign is always nice but it's not something that could really be expanded through Kinect, it's a once and done kinda deal. Navigating menus possibly if the UI is nice enough. Really can't think of much, nothing that would solidify it a...
The look on my face when I saw that title was something a little like this. :'O Great series, Serenity was fantastic. I'd like console/PC releases just because mobile really isn't my thing, but it does say initially, so we'll see. I think a successful IOS/arcade game on console/PC would be just the push to get Joss to get back into the series.
It didn't happen like it was meant to (poor design by the guy, I know) but it's just not as satisfying when you don't actually pull it off.
Fish reacting AI has existed since the 80's, the only reason Activision gets away with this crap is because their market isn't even old enough to drink yet, hell a lot of them can't even drive. The fish AI shows a very clear focus on what they want done next gen, and that's about as little change possible, while making it sound like you have lots. Why this fish AI was pushed in the first place I have no clue. It's no secret people buy Call of Duty for the multiplayer, why ...
The sad part is that the sales will be bloated by reviewers trying to review the DLC.
