The touch pad wouldn't deepen the experience of an MMO like the Kinect could. Problem is Microsoft probably won't use any of the good ideas the community is offering. Gekko above me here has some great uses for the Kinect, we just won't see them, not for a while at least. If it's a traditional R&C game, which it is, I'll get it on the spot, and I am. It was how the last two games played that fans really didn't like, and returning to their roots is exactly what will boost sales, not bring them down. And what's with the Fuse comparison? That's like saying Borderlands sucks because Aliens: Colonial Marines sucks. You're trying to connect things that don't relate to each other.
Better off playing Halo 3, it's cheaper, and better. Sadly the population of both the games is getting close to together too.
You can get a few things in Canada with permits, but not a lot. But you're right, it's a cultural thing. Which is odd considering the US, and Canada are so close you figure we would be the same, but we aren't. The difference Canada is number 2 for murders every year, and the US is number 1, and they "win" so to speak, by a long shot. Give Bowling for Columbine a watch, that's a good place to start learning about all of this.
