Hopefully they try something new that's actually competitive, maybe something that syncs up with XBL a little more. GFWL was horrid, the prices made GameStop look like the holy grail. Just for example, Crysis 2 for GFWL currently is SIXTY FRICKEN DOLLARS. Step up Microsoft, if you do something with PC again try not to screw people.
Fanboyism at it's best. Let's pretend I have a box the only holds red marbles, now when I got to show you I tell you it now holds green and blue marbles, does that mean it holds red marbles worse than it did before? It does a lesser job because it can do more? Or maybe if I show you that it only holds red marbles, neglect to tell you what else it does, then at a later date tell you it can hold green a blue marbles it's now acceptable?
The double standards held by...
Would you rather them lose billions of dollars invested in the Kinect? Putting it in the box was vital for it's survival, and now developers who were once interested in it can now make Kinect games knowing that everyone will have one, and it improves chances of sales, and it's a better chance the customers will get a developer to take a Kienct game very seriously. At the cost of $100 roughly I get a lot of features, and I'll probably get some cool games down the line. It's not...
They had a fuss once with the 360, they won't risk another RROD, there's zero hardware problems that they would let out. The Xbox One is most likely under a fine tooth comb, Microsoft can't risk anothee launch fiasco or their gaming division could be done for.
Well your first mistake was continuing to listen to him when when the mute button is always available, so that's your fault. But he is a little turd and makes XBL a hassle so he should have voice communication removed from his profile, that'll make him think twice.
When did "everywhere" become UK. My comment was stating it was a matter of time, UK sales started to dip, and now PS3 is heading in sales. It's just how it is.
You can hardly talk to male squad mates without them hitting on you, yes indeed it's forced and it's all so a couple of gay people will support them. I don't care if you're gay, but my games shouldn't suffer for it.
Back up what? The fact that 90% of straight male gamers don't want it? And the other 10 don't care? Plenty of studies, look it up. Disagreeing just shows me your a fanboy. They pandered to a crowd and made their game worse for it, and people just let Bioware walk over top of them, it's sad.
Poor things must have hit their heads if they think AAA titles don't matter.
How is this news? It's practically common knowledge at this point the PS3 outsells everywhere except in the US. Granted the 360 is doing good, it's just not outselling.
I'll be perfectly honest pertaining to Call of Duty. It's not crap because it's more of the same, it's crap because the basic, simple, and logic improvements like fixing lag, adding servers, more gametypes, improving graphics if you want, write a better story, all of these little things are missing. Instead we get stuff like MW3, or Black Ops/2 The games are complete hurricanes in terms of gameplay, no structure at all, kill streaks are complete chaos, weapons aren't even ...
I'll stop complaining about your pointless pandering to the lesbians, gays, and casual gamers the instant you make a game that's worth of being a sequel to Mass Effect. You have no ground Bioware, you screw people for a living, and take advantage of witless idiots. I despise you as a company, and I'm shocked you people even stayed around when EA picked you up.
I don't care if you support peoples sexual orientations in your video games and it doesn't interf...
It has no competition, what did you expect when the only good recent game went up in the summer? Sony was smart to release it then, all it could do was top charts until at least October.
Live hardly makes half of that and that's with the current instal base, the PS4 isn't hitting that until the generation is almost at an end. There simply isn't enough customers.
Don't bother, if Sony changes on something it's fine, but as long as Microsoft does it and Sony doesn't it's the work of the devil. Free multiplayer was a feather on their cap, seems they're doing this is because they refuse to speak out about how many people use it. They want more, now they'll get it. And the best part is the fanboys will defend the double standards to the death. Free multiplayer should have stayed, it was a great idea to stay free.
"Lead Core Gameplay Design Director and Lead Gameplay Designer" Yeah because the heads of DICE, and EA give two craps what this guy says. If Microsoft is going to throw money at EA, they'll take it. They don't care about gamers, no company does, they just want money, and EA found a boatload.
Would you rather them delay, or do it all at once and fail to meet demand? I'll take the first option, granted I'm lucky and I'm in Canada, but what would happen if Poland hypothetically got 10 Xbox One consoles and 20 were pre-ordered. You have a lot of angry fans. It's better to delay a launch then piss people off when they don't have a product that has been released, and that they paid for.
And now you see why condoms are a good thing, keeps brats like this in small balloons in the bottom of a landfill.
@aaron5829
Really? Batteries, and a power prick? I'm talking hardware here. Both consoles are practically identical, most developers are admitting it, even Carmack. On the hardware side we get Kinect in the box, that's more hardware, and worth more than $100. The power brick is a safety precaution, somethings wrong with that now too? Please find one valid complaint of the power brick. "oh but it's a brick" I'm imagining that's the best thing you ...
Is there really any reason to dodge the question? Just say yes or no already. I'll answer ahead of time on this one, saying no would be stupid.
