I agree with the $69.99 but I've never seen a new game retail here in Canada for $79.99 unless it was a limited/collector's edition
I'd expect most every publisher/developer, certainly the large ones, to start implementing a program either the same as or similar to "project 10 dollar"
Don't Panic is right, people on this site are always complaining that Gamestop is the devil and used games are a detriment to developers, yet when it comes time to put their money where their mouth is, they will buy that used game from Gamestop to save the 5 or 10 dollars. If you are a customer of EA (ie. people that buy their games new) this does not affect you. If you are a customer of Gamestop or any other used game retailer, well its time to start paying the people who made the game y...

Zeus wasn't told that by Hera, he was told by Gaia. Hera was already dead when that line was spoken.
``In addition to the new maps, players can expect to find an overall highly-polished product that is optimized for the PS3. We’ve had the benefit of being able to accommodate community feedback to enhance the usability of several features, such as our matchmaking system.``

has a trophy for viewing the credits, thats probably one of the easiest I've seen
that's why I'm hoping its for a game I haven't started or beaten yet, which is why I've put off playing MGS4 so I'm hoping its that
a) if its a stupid movie tie in platformer then don't buy it
b) Not every movie makes a profit in theaters, and movies are constantly on sale somewhere, I have 166 Blurays and I have only paid initial MSRP for a few of them
c) if you only want 1 or 2 songs off the CD, then just buy them off of a service like Itunes for $1 each instead of the whole CD
I think this is the way the industry is heading, publishers/developers probably realize they can never really stop places from selling used games, so they are changing tactics and instead providing incentives for buying new, which I feel is a good idea.
i'll be buying the collectors edition on launch day so i'll get the code included
just got the platinum trophy for it today. I have all the DLC for it already but hopefully their new pricing entices some more people to pick up the DLC as Criterion gave Burnout players alot of things for free through patches that they could of sold as DLC, bikes for example.
i think Sony should include trophies in everything. Home trophies, Life With Playstation trophies, Blu-Ray trophies (which could be difficult, but I'd happily settle just for In-Movie XMB), etc. Not just for trophy whores, but also to maybe get people to realize features they didn't know about. If a casual gamer sees in there trophy list a Home section, but they have never tried Home before, maybe it might intice them to try it and see what it is about, same thing for Life With Playstation. these versions are remakes of gold/silver actually, not the 3rd in the set.
haha yea I was thinking the same thing, it has boobs and a gun, which helps its visibility with the North American male consumer.
BTW I'm Canadian so don't think I'm knocking North America, I like the boxart anyways
preordered just in case this doesn't come to Canada
