A quick Google search shows the same type of articles for that game

Not everyone who has an Xbox supports GamePass.
Remedy is independent but Alan Wake II was published by Epic Games. Who could have, and should have, easily offered a physical.
If a game I'm interested in gets a physical version, I pre-order it.
If a game I'm interested in only gets a digital version, then I wait a couple years in case it gets a delayed physical version. If it doesn't, then I'll buy the digital version once it's at least 50% off of the initial price.
So I haven't bought Spider-Man remastered for PS5
So I haven't bought Hi-Fi Rush for Series X
So I won't buy Hellblade II f...
It's annoying that Nintendo doesn't give us the option to buy the Switch Online games instead, like Sony does with the classics on PS Plus Premium.
@Bathyj "But it's the exact same thing if your local best buy isn't stocking the disc anymore and Sony aren't making any more. Same thing, just in the digital realm."
It isn't the exact same thing at all. When a game gets a physical release, it is always available even if big-box retailers aren't selling it new anymore. For example, I can go on eBay today and buy a new & sealed copy of Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron for PS3, because it onc...
I only own 3 of them at least (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Neptunia: Sisters Vs. Sisters)
I wish Sony had bought Sanzaru instead of Meta, especially since they already had a relationship with them. I don't like supporting non-core gaming companies like Meta, Amazon, Netflix, etc and would much rather have the Asgard's Wrath games on PSVR2 instead. But if it's really good I might have to get a Meta headset, although from the research I've done it's annoying that there isn't a "best" one currently. The Quest 3 has some advantages over the Quest Pro,...
I think this is great, yeah it's not perfect that it won't be available at launch but this is much better than us never getting an offline mode at all. Rocksteady at least listened to the complaints and is doing something about it. Hopefully later pressings of the disc version might even have the update that provides offline mode on it for preservation purposes.
Think they mean The Way Of Water
I don't want Gamepass on my Series X, and I won't want it on my PS5 or Switch either
Ah, yet another example of the garbage that is digital-only content
IGN updated that story with this as it was incorrect: "Both Mat Piscatella of Circana and Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners told IGN their firms estimate the current split between Xbox Series X and S is closer to 50/50, with the S having a slight lead over the X. (Original story continues below)"
That was disproven, IGN updated that article with this "Both Mat Piscatella of Circana and Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners told IGN their firms estimate the current split between Xbox Series X and S is closer to 50/50, with the S having a slight lead over the X. (Original story continues below)"

used to be called NPD
I haven't seen one for North America yet which sucks, considering most of the recent Atelier games got one here. Only a Japan version so far.
@MIDGETonSTILTS17 I'm not sure why you're saying Bend Studio was passed over, as Sony owns them.
Yeah I'm disappointed I missed out on the PS4 version of Fall Of Cybertron when it was available.
They gave Redfall a physical release (two of them if you count the Bite Back upgrade). I would imagine the expectation is for Hellblade II to perform better than that game.
