True. The new policies were game changers (not in a good way), at least with the old policies I own my games again and have the freedom of doing whatever I want with the games. I don't mind having the disc in the tray at all times anyways.
unchartedxplorer - If I recall correctly, didn't Sony last gen sell a console at a loss at launch? I believe it was around $200 they were losing on every sale of the console.
Though I highly doubt a price drop would happen for the Xbox One. Guaranteed it will remain $499.99 at launch. If it's possible for Microsoft to hear our opinions on the Kinect and pushes out another SKU that doesn't have the Kinect, I could live without the Kinect.
Virtual_Reality - I see nothing about region locks being removed. Nor am I seeing the 24 hour check being removed or increased. It was never "always online", it was "Online within the last 24 hours in order to play games".
Just a bunch of "alleged" details. I'll wait for Microsoft to come and say this. I'd be truly shocked if even half of those were happening.
final edit : wow..they really did. Congrats Microsoft. Thi...
PS4 - takes every step in getting every detail right, and actually listens to feedback and praises their fans for it.
Xbox One - takes every step to get every detail wrong, stands by their decision regardless of what their fanbase complains about.
Microsoft is making it really easy for us this gen.
lol I know Best Buy's pre-order system for consoles, inventory isn't guaranteed and I didn't have time to go pre-order it the first day to be first on the list so I'd be pretty far down the list on the pre-order. By the time I'd get one, the price gouging of reselling it would be dwindling down and probably not worth it lol.
AI was pretty damn smart. Any time I ran out of ammo in a gun battle, they would shout "He's out of ammo, flank him!" I had issues with the last section where I'd peak up for a split second and they'd shoot me instantly. They wouldn't shoot if I was still covered, but if I barely tapped to aim, they'd shoot and hit me lol. Stealth approach was a pain on that last chapter.
I liked how Ellie would throw me some ammo randomly, or a health pack, or...
I have no problems waiting until inventory levels are good to go and I can just walk in and grab one. I'd love to get it on launch day, but this thing has a huge following. I want to get it through Best Buy since I have $400 in gift cards through there and I know inventory is going to be tight.
Holy wall of text.
Then find a way to show that you're next gen now instead of waiting another 6 months for you to finally start releasing games people want. As of now, you haven't proven anything with your console.
mep69 - lol enjoy your adventure, make sure to look for letters and audio tapes through each section. Some great content there as well. The game strikes a great balance of fairness when it comes to the enemies. Definitely take the stealth approach with everything lol.
lol ya he did

Only fools buy from eBay, usually for new consoles they can go upwards to $1000 like last gen if they're selling out.
If that were the case, with Microsoft confirming a release time-frame for November, why does Amazon state Battlefield 4 Xbox One by Electronic Arts (Oct 29, 2013) ?
I believe these are just placeholders for the next gen versions as it's the same release date across the board.
Did you expect someone to follow the rules? They said no videos either and there's already a 30 minute video up lol.
But Wii U isn't an x86 architecture like the PS4 and Xbox One, so it would be a hell of a lot different for developing the game for the Wii U than the next gen consoles due to the architecture alone.
On clickers, two shot kill with headshots with revolver, maybe 3-4 with the first pistol you get. human enemies are insta-kill with headshots, a few shots with enemies with armor. You may find easier ways of killing clickers and humans with armor, but I don't want to spoil any boss fights until you start getting the new equipment and such. Send PM if you want to know about additional equipment though.
Triforce079 - Dunno, depends on what Activision and whichever developer is developing it. Not my place to call it true next gen or not. Given the difference in specs, I wouldn't say it's able to completely compete with the PS4 or (hate to say it) Xbox One.
It's possible they are doing the Xbox One and PS4 edition, and 2 other devs are doing the 360 and PS3 ports and Wii U port.
Microsoft can't fire him now, he's brainwashed. He'll defend this thing until whenever the next Xbox comes out, and that's if they even make it to the next gen.
Agreed. You can't have what you want, and then take the bits and pieces that were removed. Those features removed were reliant on the 24 hour check, as well as the inability of lending your disc to someone. This was the first step in the right direction for them in regards to these new policies. They seemed very dead set on leaving this policies in place and turning their backs against their customers.
They listened to what their customers wanted and they're getting sc...
