Playing recon can actually get you a lot of points. Put down a spawn beacon and either a MAV or the T-UGS and then you'll start getting points left and right. I usually play CQ and put it near a capture point and net myself quite a few points and ribbons. I don't normally use a sniper rifle either though. Usually the UMP45 on CQ maps.
I'm at 90 on Xbox, I stopped for a while and have picked it up a bit since then. Hopefully I'll get it during the double xp period. Was wondering when they'd do this.
BF4 dropped co-op and will be SP and MP.
BF3's co-op was okay, wish it had more missions via DLC or something to give it a little bit of use.
That's a bummer, they should open it up to more than just the US.
If this "Always Online" has an affect on the gameplay, understandable. If I recall, didn't they say that there were multiple people playing at the same time during the demo at E3? This would make sense as to why it would require Always Online, but if it's just strictly as some form of DRM, then, well that sucks then.
Isn't the UI in Windows 8..Metro? The square tiles and such. Those are already there for the current Xbox dashboard.
Definitely can't be for being overpriced.
It looks very homemade by someone that works there, I would just leave it as a rumor until DICE makes a comment. Guaranteed this would be everywhere instead of just this particular Gamestop. My guess is to lure people into pre-ordering from them.
Bought Warfighter for PC as well, part of that $35 pre-order deal they had hours before the launch.
Last year I believe they sent out codes to people who have played Battlefield for a while. Not sure exactly what other requirements were needed though.
Sweet, this time around I have a rig that can play it. :D Hopefully I get sent a code, my buddy gave me his since he didn't have a PC at the time.
Try playing PC and altering the FOV and then going back to console with their set FOV of about 65 or so. There's not much to complain about the PC because it's so beautiful, plus I can't complain about the additional 40 player count.
I just hope they can figure out a way to accomodate the map size to the amount of players on consoles.
While I am always connected to XBL when I turn on my Xbox, my internet connection has been pretty reliable. But if for whatever reason my internet goes out, I'd still like to be able to fall back on playing games offline. I just don't see them ever rendering the console as a paperweight if my internet isn't working properly.
Well, in BF2 it was like this -
"The commander position is an exclusive role played by one member of each team. Any member of a team may apply for the position, but priority is given to players of higher rank.
The commander alone has access to the "commander screen", an interface similar to that of a real-time strategy game. This allows the commander an overview of the battlefield as a whole, or zoom in and view parts of the map in real-time. ...
Nothing yet for next gen, just current gen, but I'm sure more information will come out as we near the release of the next gen consoles.
Were we ever off it?
Think of it as an additional option. Microsoft has been wanting the Xbox to be an entertainment system, as you can see with the latest additions to the current Xbox. This will just be one additional feature you can use on top of being a gaming console. Based on this rumor, it's not just going to be a gaming console, it will a lot more than just a gaming experience, and I'm completely fine with that.
Do you really think if they release a console that is half assed fo...
At least wait until some more information comes out before being worried, geez.
I wouldn't be surprised if politicians would try and pay off the researchers to cook up something and say that violent games make violent people. They've been blaming games for violence forever. Some people are just mentally broken and they just happened to have games.
Gotta love the wording in all these rumors lol.
